In my elementary school we always wrote with these erasable frixion pens (they were a big trend) and one boy needed a good grade in maths to make it to a good school but he erased something that was correct on a test. My friend and I thankfully had done some experiments with the pens and told the teacher to stick the tests into the freezer and so she did because she did want to help the boy and the erased ink appeared again and he got into his school of choice :)

the soft pastel pilot frixon highlighters are one of my FAVORITE stationary tools of all time. they add color and details to readings and papers without being obnoxious, and the erasability of them is so useful!

TIP: use a non black frixion pen and ink over it with permanent ink then use a blow dryer and watch as the ink magically disappear leaving only the permenant ink

I once bought two of those pens to use as highlighters at school ( the teal and purple one ) and they were very opaque...? Not as pigmented as those. After a few days, they dried out completeley.

So Tasty Théia with frixion the pens are way better than the highlighter. The highlighters don't have very consistent quality so sometimes they are good sometimes the suck :/ also the orange highlight colour is ugly in my opinion. I recommend the pens tho! They are fun and refillable :))

I love how amazed you are by the frixon erasables :D Over here in Germany they were quite known and used as stationary, for example in school or at university. They really are handy for taking notes. Also, they come in all colors and have refills :)

I have to say, I LUUUV baby's TOOSHIES...they are just sooo adorable! I really liked that piece of art you did of the running baby, its really good. I'm considering getting some of those highlighters, as they look really interesting. I wish they did a larger variety of colours though. Shame they aren't for adult colouring, because they would be making a lot more money from them that way.

The Pilot Frixion pens are often used by people use fabrics to follow a partner, quilt of likely do a soft sculpture because you can use heat to remove the ink, for example using the dryer! Or a hair dryer works amazingly!

It makes me think maybe the baby is running away from growing up, since stereotypically black represents darkness, so it could be the dark future expected of them, but they’re running away from it back into their childhood to escape the dull life awaiting them.

Cool thing about those frixion pen & highlighters are that it actually IS heat activated! The magic is all in the name. The heat from the friction of the rubber eraser on the paper generates enough heat to turn the ink clear

I always use erasable highlighters to mark important things in the books I read. It's easy to write a quick summary this way and I don't have to worry about marking something wrong by accident.

This turned out super cute! You can’t layer the Frixion products at all, because the friction of drawing starts to erase what’s already there. I bought a pack of the actual markers, which come in fun colors but I feel like there’s not much I can use them for. I love the pens for bullet journaling though - I don’t like pencil because it smears and disappears, but I mess up all the time, so they’re perfect!

I've sold these pens before at a Tokyu Hands outlet (a Japanese retail store; "life creative store") and the Frixion inks are actually temperature sensitive, not erasable per se. If you use the ink and "erase" with it, the heat from rubbing the eraser bit against the paper causes the ink to go transparent. The cool thing about it is you can make them visible again by getting it cold; put it in a fridge or freezer for a couple minutes (or however long it takes for the ink to react) Not sure how it would work during winter, since I live in the tropics and have no four seasons, so it would be very interesting to see how the artwork would fair.

I've used those black erasable pens. I don't know how they are now but back maybe 5 years, I used those pens to fill an entire notebook over the course of a school year. The way those pens erase is with friction, so it being in my bag all the time made the pages rub together and by the end of the school year the first half of the notes had these big patches just disappear. It was notes for some fantasy story I was writing so it wasn't something important like school notes. I couldn't imagine the heartbreak of losing my notes I'd need to study.

Something to note about those Frixon pens, and highlighters. It's the heat of the friction that makes the ink invisible, but the ink is actually still there. If you submit the paper to freezing cold temperatures everything that you erased will come right back again.
