i have to admit i was skeptical when your video started....but damn i was impressed...by it...and you! Your video was very detailed!! You def earned my subscription. Im looking for power in my van build and this is awesome. Just wish there was an option for adding my power as in an additional battery

I am planning a new van build and was going to use this unit. It’s easy to add another external battery, I would run 2 x 12 in series and connect to the solar input port. Easy, the car charger is super fast. Easy to setup and no need to configure. Lots of power and the Anderson 120 port is the superstar of the unit. I would run the Anderson 120 straight to a 12 volt junction and then collect my 12 fuses block.

I love your idea of running 2 x 12v in series and utilizing the solar charging port to feed in the extra power!!! Im definitely watching for when you and your son start the van build project!!!!​@@RANDOMFIX

If you turn it off at the lighter does that prevent any parasitic draw? I've heard some other chargers have a 1w draw when not in use.

I don’t know if could lift that, I imagine it will weigh about 80 plus pounds. But it think there are two handles on that unit. So I could get a helper if needed.

I’m in ireland, we use 240 volt. Can I run 240 volt tools or appliances from this unit??

Good question, the unit I showed is for the usa market at 120 volts but I am show that they make a 220 vol and possibly a 249 variant but I have not tried it out personally.
