I got that unit, cheaper as it was no-name yet has a far superior airbrush, and LOVE IT! Best $70 CAD I ever spent!

I bought a different version about a year ago but haven’t been brave enough to use it lol. I’m gonna have to give it a shot now!

I got one of these after seeing ninjons video. And spoke to the seller who is a great guy. I now have two. And use it all the time. Even with my badger and sparmax airbrushes

Mmmm my iPad Pro has a good I think Magnifier App I could use instead of glasses. Just needs a stand to prop it on etc. With the large 12.x inch screen I can then use my reading glasses if needed. Thanks for prompting the idea. Laurie. NZ.

Great video mate! I think I will be getting the youfu one you used, I went a cheaper option that did not come with the hose and has a max pressure of only about 20psi, it can't handle metallic and you have to thin it down too much. Definitely be joining eastmans patreon just for that punisher model alone 👍
@TheCreativeCollector2 жыл бұрын
Yeah I researched on this one cuz I knew it had to have the PSI to move paint adequately. And you'll love his patreon. He has tons of models and busts to keep you busy printing.

So cool! Can u explain how u made his beard? I mean, how to make so thin layer, almost transparent?

Thanks so much for this review. I got a testors airbrush with the cans of air for xmas.. It works great for what I need but the cans don't last at all. Something like this would be great for me. Thanks again for the great videos.

Not being able to adjust the psi is holding me back from getting one of these. At about 30 psi you're fine for applying primer/base coat but when it comes to details/fine lines you usually want to lower the psi to 15-20 depending on the thickness of the paint so you can spray from closer without spider webbing.
@TheCreativeCollector2 жыл бұрын
I usually dpray at 30 psi all of tge time but I get it. Some people want to lower it. You can get a regulator for it to help control that though.

I have a $900 compressor and airbrush setup, nothing here for me but good info for everyone else! Might consider a cordless compressor in the future! Your videos rock my dude and please support this talent, his discord is awesome!

Great video,10x, what color did you use for the jacket base and weathering?
@TheCreativeCollector2 жыл бұрын
I used black and a natural black then dry brushed some leather brown over it.

how much in materials does it cost to print a bust like that? I want to get into printing and making statues for friends and family
@TheCreativeCollector2 жыл бұрын
The initial costs of buying the printer are the biggest expense. Printing a bust like this is minimal.

Do you find that there is a substantial return on investment with more expensive airbrushes? If so, what is your experience? Less clogs? How would you quantify it? I have a compressor but I use pretty cheap airbrushes and have never tried a more expensive "nicer" airbrush
@TheCreativeCollector7 ай бұрын
To be honest I don't use an expensive one. To me there's not much of a difference.
@ArsMemoriae7 ай бұрын
@@TheCreativeCollector that’s what I’ve kind of suspected but thought maybe I was just being cheap
