What’s up bro, great review like usual! This truck uses the same platform AUSTAR ax8560, except for the body. The great thing about this truck it uses Trx4m parts! I have 2. One I completely upgraded with trx parts and the other i kept stock. Quick tip, you can get about double the steering angle by cutting off the the 2 steering lock tabs on the servo mount. Makes a huge difference.
@raymondwendt620528 күн бұрын
Beat me to it. The second link is identical to the Austar. Awesome trucks. Mine is stock except trx4m shocks and a little brass. Turned it into a cool trail rig pulling the trx trailer.
@MarcoL97228 күн бұрын
@@raymondwendt6205 ya dude, especially for the price! First one I got for 70 then I saw it onsale for 59 bucks on BG so I had to jump on it lol. I Installed the hi lift oil shocks, hi clearance alloy links, servo and mount upgrade, big tires with brass beadlocks and brass axle weights. I had to cut the fenders off the body to fit the tires lol. It actually looks sick. To be honest though, after all the upgrades I did, I think I like using the stock one better. With a few minor tweaks it’s just really good how it is
@DerbyCityRC28 күн бұрын
Hey dude. Nice thanks for the info!! I had no idea Trx parts fit. I’m sure they’re not happy about that lol
@MarcoL97228 күн бұрын
@@DerbyCityRC ya no problem man, I’m pretty sure AUSTAR has a 1/10 crawler that uses trx4 parts 🤣Not sure how they get away with it??... Not all parts fit but most do. How did you like the low down modulation? It’s pretty nuts how nice the electronics are especially for the price
@DesertBros76028 күн бұрын
Nice! I'm gonna try that with the steering right now! I just got my ax8560 and have a cart full of parts on Amazon I'm gonna order soon. Any trx4m parts that haven't worked out for you?

Don’t forget, some of that weight on the JJRC is from the 370 motor they use in it! I have the wrangler version from Austar and it goes head to head with all my other mini’s, even the Redcat Ascent which is an awesome rig. I definitely think a few things like removing the spare tire and trailer hitch if you got one will help it a ton. Don’t forget to shave of those steering bumpers which definitely hold back it’s turning radius. Got mine earlier this year for like under $60! It’s a true winner in my book! Great video guys! Always love watching your channel! 🙌💯😎👍🏻

We got the same JJRC a month or 2 ago. Cooked the ESC in less than 3 battery runs around the back yard. No brand support. Luckily a spare HW 1040 ESC got it back up and running. Of course also needed a receiver as well so the light features were gone and the internal BEC fried the light controller so all new LEDs too. Should have just gone with FMS.
