The impossible restoration is here! Can this 1975 Tonka Grader ever look new again?! Watch this awesome toy restoration video to find out!
I start with the most trashed Tonka toy I could possibly find. After a little research I discover that this is actually a 1975 Mighty Tonka Road Grader, Model # 3945. Spoiler alert, I talk through the first part of this video. If that isn't really your thing, feel free to fast forward to 5:33
to avoid all of the talking.

The initial condition of the toy not only does huge credit to your skills, but to the manufacturer for making such a good quality item in the first place! I say 🥇🥇to both parties 🚜

Makes me feel old when people restore toys from my childhood. I was 12 in 1976. My little brother was born in 1976 and he had all kind of toy cars, but Tonka was not in Europe in these days. Now I'm about 100 lol What an mamazing job you do on these 🙏👍❤️

That was an amazing restoration. Who would have thought that this toy could be given a new lease of life like that? I thought the explanation at the beginning added a lot of useful information - and I wouldn't be adverse to a small amount of voice over during the restoration either 😊👍

I love sandblasting! I am going to buy one and "blast" all my tools, my outside furniture, my wife and anything else that is getting rusty... My son was given one of these graders; he pushed it, sat on it, stood on it for years.... I wish I had kept it.

oh man, wow! I got one of these for my birthday from my aunt when I was a kid!! LOVED playing in the dirt with my Tonkas and Matchbox & How Wheels cars. Most summer days I'd have some friends over, we'd get all the cars out and take turns picking which ones we wanted, then we'd cut all these roads with little driveways to represent houses, park the cars at each "house", then drive back and forth visiting each other. The simplest things gave some much pleasure back then.

Tonka toys were made to be played with and that's what we did. Then to see you restore this motor grader shows how well made they began. And brought back some warm memories of playing with them with my older brother. Yeah, he played in the dirt with his little sister.
