@@BB-mv1ud As an EOD since 2017 player, agreed. I've been playing Arena Breakout Infinite, and it's been fantastic. Before/after the closed beta for it, I've been mainly playing SPT and the whole experience is just better in literally every way.

Thank you for acknowledging how shitty the movement feels, i lost love for this game when intertia came out, mainly because i loved PVP and trying to get the perfect movement in this game; Which was HARD. But after inertia it incentivized ratting, camping, staying indoors all raid, not making noise.

My ideal Tarkov is the movement right now, with Comtacs having at LEAST 50% less hearing range and having the hearing through concrete walls, and 4 floors below and above fixed. I think that would be a solid game.

Inertia was necessary. They may have overdid it but the arcade style movement that was pre-inertia was terrible, especially at higher strength and vitality levels. People not wanting to make noise is not a terrible thing. Stealth should be an option. Punishing people for doing either is a mistake. Both play styles should be viable.

I agree. Both styles of play should be viable and inertia is necessary. I’m a slow player, definitely the dude that’s going to be holding a corner if I hear more than one set of footsteps coming my way. But even I can agree that the way inertia was, was overdone for sure.

I think Nikita is full of crap!!! There has been multiple times where they could have solved a lot of issues and they did not. There only concern was to get more content into the game and not care about the issues at hand. Being a game dev, you have to have respect for the people who play your game. They are the people that feed you after all. And now that the game is about to tank, he wants to jump and fix all the shit that the community has been complaining about. Let's say he pulls back half of the people who left, how long will it be before he gets this dung idea not to listen to the community again and screw everything up again. Most important part of a game dev is to listen to the community.

Tarkov is old. The more they try to keep up with new games the more they’ll fail. They need to steer into the slow-paced immersive gameplay elements and stick to it. Don’t be CoD, ABI, or GZW. Just be Tarkov.

I agree. I think the movement should stay the way it is now though, because what we play in game is a trained, ex-military.. in most cases, killing machine. So it doesn't make sense to feel like a fat kid with asthma trying to move in the game. But they definitely should lean hard into whatever direction they actually want to go.

@@TootenTV Knowing a few special forces operators myself, I can say with 100% certainty that the inertia and slower movement is just about consistent with what a top form soldier can do in full kit and a backpack full of gear. Not everyone wants a ADHD head clicker shooter. Some folks like when things slow down to be more realistic and believable.

they could maybe add a system where if an Item is inside a gamma container at the end of the raid it cannot be sold in the flee market. Essentially anything thats outside the safe container is free to sell

Just make items found on a player's body FIR but if you die the items in your secure container aren't, it wouldn't solve people going in with their friends and having their friends kill them but it puts another barrier to that making it much harder for them.

I would just keep it the way it is now, but don't allow items from in a raid to be put into your secure container. What you put in before the raid, is what you got. A LOT of people disagree with that, I know. But it fixes hatchlings and also keeps PvP incentivized.

I drop this game long times ago, my buddy still play but in offline mode, where he use mod, he said, the modder is doing better than the Dev, there so many thing they could have done to make the game better, he just dont know why they dont do that

I agree with your buddy. The QoL that the mods for SPT bring to EFT is actually insane. I don’t exactly know how it works, so excuse my stupidity in this statement, but I feel like if they can, they should buy the mods or the rights to them and implement them into the game. Or at the very least contract the modders.

I found it shocking that BSG is not addressing the biggest issues with this game: Cheaters, Desync, Broken Sound, Poor Performance... anything else pales in comparison with those problems and for some reason nobody talks about this anymore.

@@TootenTV My impression is that the Unheared Edition outrage is enormous and while the community has the momentum right now, they waste it on FIR discussions and other content related topics. This would have been a great opportunity to press BSG to improve upon more important topics. Feels like a missed opportunity and I am a bit mad about that.

Unheard edition did kill Tarkov for the most part, the playerbase dropped tremendously after they released an even more P2W edition than EOD, plus they took too long to tell EOD owners about giving them PVE mode, still, the unheard edition effects will be even worse after wipe when the true P2W comes into play, atm the game is already pretty dead, if they don't do a set of changes to balance things up, and hopefully quality of life improvements to the game overall, by the time arena breakout infinite comes out, most people will switch, some because they will preferr arena, others out of spite towards BSG

"Nikita fucked up once" is not a fair statement. BSG has consistently made terrible game design choices and shady business decisions (game sales after every ban wave for example). Streamers are the best thing we have in terms of a voice with this company because they consistently ignore the player base.

This is the first wipe I have made it passed level 15 so I won't claim to be an expert but I think you're a little off saying they are only changing things bc of the Unheard scandal and Arena Breakout. I was drawn to this wipe when I heard they made the recoil better and revamped the armor. I saw thise changes as helping inexperienced players fight the chads. My take is they are just serious about making the best version of the game this year to get ready for the final release just like they are saying. It started before the Unheard Scandal.

Nah man, and obviously I'm not trying to be rude, you stated that you haven't played much, so that's fine. This is absolutely out of character for BSG. Inertia, FiR, stamina, all of these have been a point of contempt for years. Again, as I said in the video, they truly stood firm in their stance up unto the point of Arena Breakout's major success within the community. The catalyst for these changes and Nikita's interaction with the community is absolutely due to the Unheard/Arena Breakout drama. They've made some great changes to EFT this year with the recoil, finally getting armor plates, vaulting, etc. etc. but FiR was something they took a HARD stance on since it's addition due to RMT. For them to come off of that, after the community complaining for YEARS, it had to be something drastic, and it was.

Its an event. not a change. Arena breakout is Free, they respond to feedback, and released the beta at the perfect time. Big company isnt going to fuck up like nikita, Breakout will only get better with time. And micro transactions have already been talked about. a 3x3 stash for your ass is not gaming breaking for a monthly subscription.

A big company is more likely to fuck up, especially a company backed by Tencent, because they have $440 billion to fall back on. The potential stolen assets and code are already a pretty big fuck up. Also, it's an event that is highly likely to lead to a change as most feedback on it has been entirely positive. Why wouldn't they implement the change?

Arena is a real refresher and everyone who has played tarkov for years understands this. I believe arena breakout gone be something like albion online. Hear me out. Albion online is a pvp where all your loot drops on death, its free to play, its extremely popular, you can buy everything for real money, but since its a pvp game, you can kill those players and take the loot they bough for money and no one is complaining about it, streamers even defend it. Most often used defense, well what do you really win by paying :D I believe arena breakout gone have the same thing, the streamers gone play it and say the pay to win is not that bad because you can take the loot the vales are bringing in... nikita is scrambling for sure, tarkov wont die for sure. And for all the streamers, they can now jump from game to game whenever some events or wipes happen, its a good alternative

I feel like you’re right to an extent. I still think even the idea of being able to buy better gear and have the advantage over someone who didn’t, isn’t going to sit well with a lot of people. I do think it’s going to drive SOME not all of the current players away. All we can really do is sit back and wait to see though.

@@TootenTV no one will care. People gone complain to farm videos,tl that's about it. If the game is good, people will play it no matter how pay to win it is, especially since it's a f2p game. Pay to win in tarkov is a real thing. Just Google, there are hundreds of websites, they sell anything you want, all gear, carry services, you can rent a cheater, it's out of control, but people don't care because the game is good.
