I uninstalled in December of last year, so it must've been implemented very recently.

Like 1 or 2 months ago I uninstalled the game due to just adhorrent performance on my laptop (for some reason wasnt a selectable option) and I got the same survey

Its ridiculous what Otz said! They implemented everything Otz said in his COpmmunity Update to the Game (same with Scott Junds 7.0 Update but he is not the topic) . This is the Game how Otz demanded it and now he behaves as if he had nothing to do with it! The Devs do listen, the Problem is that the feedback is flawed! The Twins on Ptb is EXACTLY the direction this Game needs! But all the Content Creators and their Bubbles of survs (bigger community=more clicks, we all know how that works) cried like babys and now it stays the same garbage Game with 3 playable Killer sout of 30! I was always pissed at the devs , meanwhile I think the Problems are the Content Crerators that claim to be the voice of the player base but always talk such outlandish jibberish that it sounds like Tapes from the Man in the High Castle... Otz, Scott, Tofu etc... they are the Problem! Or more...that the Devs listen to them! And they can`t say they don`t. Every Time one of them talks about a "Problem" it gets handled by BHVR

@@pintolerance785 I mean I think killers should at least be 5x more powerful than they are right now. But killing a whole team in 10 seconds (which I know is an exaggeration, but it’s BHVR, so it’s probably not that far off) is actually ridiculous.

In a supposedly horror game like DBD the survivors are actually more scarier than the killers and the survivors don’t even have weapons and they still give me anxiety even with me being a killer main and killers are the power role in DBD. DBD Is not a horror game a horror game is something like the outlast series or resident evil series… DBD is an unbalanced frustrating competitive game the only reason why I’m playing DBD at this point is because I’m a horror fan and the licensing characters if it weren’t for that I would have deleted DBD a long time ago the coding of DBD is spaghetti and just downright a badly coded game

@@TootenTV much appreciated because if it weren’t for the license characters like Jill from resident evil or maybe even Chucky I would have been deleted DBD because DBD is overall a badly coded game

@@Evilwhisperrs I think most of the community wouldn't be playing or even exist without licensed characters. It's a major deal.

about the mmr: i have been playing a lot of huntress when i came back to the game like 2 months ago and i had quite the noobies at first so of course they ranked me up. Now i am at the point tho where i get the best of the best survivors with 4000-9000 hours and its just too difficult. I get like 4 hooks maximum per game cause i either get genrushed if i commit for 30 seconds and if i commit even harder then that they can just loop me forever and even if i dont commit they get gens done anyways even if i try to pressure. I lost like 5 games in a row on one day and then stopped playing huntress cause it was just not fun anymore. My mmr does not go down either. Everyone says just dont get hooks. I dont get hooks anyways cause they are too good for me but the game doesnt care and i cant enjoy huntress anymore.

I feel that bro. I don’t think, or at least it doesn’t feel like MMR resets either, so even if you get frustrated and dip out for a few months, you come back are still playing against that tier of player.

Ever since this last patch I’ve been experiencing bugs such as my killer freezing in the menu pose when going to the customize page, locking me out of being able to do go back, my game freezing randomly when going through clothing and character selection, and random cut outs to the games server and being put back in the main menu….

Are you on PC or console? And how long has that been happening? When was the last patch that you’re talking about?

@@TootenTV for me it’s only really when I interact. My game was not this buggy before the patch, or at the very least this consistently buggy.

@@SluggoMan Yeah I get that. I’m sorry to hear it dude. Since I’ve responded here, I’ve seen a lot of other people in the community on Twitter complaining about problems with the patch.

I feel the devs have done a very good job listening to the community ever since hemorrhaging was re-worked way back. People simply choose to pretend they don't remember good changes.

behaviour admitted to me in an email that they do not play test their own game, instead relying on their employees that pay bhvr to work for them (the player base). and you can tell any time they showcase something through employee custom match game play. i am all but convinced that bhvr does not address certain issues because they want people to drop money on characters thinking the perks they'll get will fix the fact that they get tunneled out early in nearly every game they play with their friends before realizing that they barely help and that there are a TON more issues with the game that have been there for literal years and that bhvr often creates new problems when they come up with new content for the game they have almost no experience playing. or, in this most recent issue, they didn't test or prepare for an upgrade to the unreal engine so a bunch of performance issues and even a new type of crash (that i've experienced anyway) have gone live.

My matches are random as ever. Everyone says 'on the MMR cap is so low' but like... almost 5k hours in and I don't feel 'high MMR' Of course I lack the self-imposed handicap of willfully choosing to have bad matches effect me more. I choose that each match is equal.

There are Steam posts going back as far as December complaining about this. I uninstalled the game back in November and I remember seeing this survey pop up on me. I swear it's been a thing for a bit longer than that even, because I remember seeing it pop up on me as I was uninstalling/reinstalling things a lot when I had a lot less storage space than I do now.

I just had like one of the greatest matches I’ve had as survivor. One of those matches i would have gotten like 90k bp and right as i was getting mori’ed, the game just disconnected and kicked me out. Im so done and tired of this bullshit.

I haven't uninstalled yet. However my brother gave up a year ago and the mate gave up around that time. I've been solo playing for most my game time (about 2.2k hours) and I mainly play survivor. For me I've found killers getting increasingly aggressive in perks and in play style, you rarely get fun interactions with killers anymore and rarely see survivors getting the hatch by the killer (not that I expect this). Feels like I'm playing a ranked game mode every match. Regarding cross play/progress I am the same. Before cross play existed in DBD I played between PC and XBOX, and drifted more to playing on XBOX. But purchased the DLCs on both and tried to keep up with both. Tomes started releasing prior to cross play and I had to pick a direction and I played mainly with the bro on console so console it was. Now 17 Tomes in I can't play on PC, I've accumulated to much content on the XBOX. Cross progress NEEDS to be implemented.

Man I feel it when it comes to every game feeling like a ranked match. I remember having some fun and funny interactions back in the day, playing as both killer and survivor. Everyone is just so serious now. It’s very unfortunate.

sweaty playstyle is so common... and its sucks when you want to play 2 or 3 games as solo survivor (average, no meta perks, just for FUN) and in first one you are left to bleed out, in second killer is hard tunneling then slugging 3 ppl and hooking all 3 in the same moment and in the last one its pre camping nurse and all 3 games with full meta perks and killer will write "gg" after the game. like really? yea, great game... and then I want to try next day but its the same sh!t everyday

@@anettelma123 Yeah, I've noticed games turning that way and it's hard to stay positive and not let it annoy you. So many killers will state it's the most effective playstyle and 'I am the killer', which may be true. However it's a terrible experience for survivors that can't or have poor looping skills (myself included).
