Have you played My Time at Portia? I have it on Switch and it's excellent. I think you'd enjoy it. You can get into relationships, gift people etc similarly to Stardew Valley, but in more 3D looking animation, and you help to renovate the entire town and do quests etc. And you can adopt a couple of strays! And have a horse! It's just great. Highly recommend.

Since we're considering theories of Kyle not acknowledging the cheating. I really liked the theory Julie Cartier proposed on the worst day of my life video. It's the third top comment. It's about how Kyle was actually planning to propose and Shino figured out. Then she tried to sabotage the whole thing. The commenter goes more in depth in the interpretation, and I really would love to see that direction.
