If the allies had given enough weapons, Ukrainian soldiers would not have fled the army.

"they don't know about?" The Ukrainian army knows when their units aren't showing up. If you have a captain responsible for 100 men and he counts 90 of them, he has to account for the other 10. Either they were KIA, WIA, or they deserted. They know darn well how many people are showing up in the hospitals, morgues, and who's just not showing up. If there's an uncertainty in that number it is because the Ukraininan Ministry of Defense lies to make the problem look less terrible than it really is, just like they've lied about everything else during this war.

I'm not arguing for the slaughter to continue since I've been opposed to this SMO/War from the very beginning and believed that the negotiations in 2022 in Turkiye was going to end it until Zelensky chose war instead. What I'm say is that at this point, the only way this war ends is unconditional surrender when you consider that American involvement is clear with the guidance and targeting assistance for ATACAMS. There's nothing of leverage that Zelensky has to negotiate with Russia and if it was Kursk, that's methodically being taken back. I say methodically because Zelensky wants to hold Kursk for negotiations and since he's sending troops as if on a conveyor belt, Russia is simply taking it's time destroying valuable war material and soldiers. There's no rush to take back Kursk. We both agree, the Ukrainian soldiers lives need to be saved either by surrender or desertion.

The fact that Europe and the US are giving weapons by the teaspoon is not enough to repel the Russian occupiers. Ukraine is defending itself against the world's largest country, although its population is smaller. Why are they giving so little weapons? Yes, the Russians are suffering huge losses, but the FPV drones from the donations have changed the course of the war in close asymmetrical battles on the Ukrainian side. If the allies had given enough weapons, the soldiers would not have fled the army.

The difference is that Russia pays volunteers with military experience large amounts of money, while Ukraine is drafting inexperienced men, with low pay, and without providing adequate training or the option of alternative service. This is one of the reasons why Russia is not using conscripts in the war.
