I don't understand. Beyond the comic realization, it doesn't talk about the very serious problem of the ice mage specialization. For my first run I did a Sorcerer Ice and it completely put me off the game. The Mourning Frost staff and the items Coldbrim Hat and Winterclutch's Gloves no longer work at all after Act 1. Because of their insidious effects cold and Encrusted with Frost which have a DC at 12. All mid/end game enemies easily pass this DC and resist the effects of vulnerability to frost and freeze effect making all ice mage stuff useless. The game tells me: DC = base 8 + 5 charisma + 4 profiency = 12. Is this completely stupid or am I the one who has a problem?

it does work but the DC for the CON saving throw that enemies must do is its own set number, unaffected by your caster's own spell save DC. Also Frozen condition doesnt apply cold damage vulnerability to the target

@@malasian insidious cold from mourning staff should apply vulnerability but i can't apply it cause DC is 12 and the proficiency of ennemies in act3 is too high. They saved all status conditions

When you force Raphael to spawn in your camp you can cast silence on him step out of Silence and light them up with spells until he drops for the XP glitch you also get the hell dusk armor which is a nice bonus and he's totally fine with everything doesn't care that you just beat him to a pulp although in every interaction after that he does look like he just got his face busted
