Can We Beat Sonic Adventure 2 ONLY Using Eggman (With NO Mech)

You guys thought I was done with this series, but I got another one! Today we're gonna try and beat Sonic Adventure 2 using Eggman! We found alot of eggciting tricks we can use, and we were able to pull off some stuff that I'd never think he could do!

On Eggman and low gravity... The way jumping works in this game is that, after you jump, you get some extra upwards acceleration each frame until a character-specific number of frames have passed or you let go of the jump button. Gravity is only slightly lower in low gravity (at least for non-mech characters), but this extra acceleration is the same, leading to it boosting jump height by a fair bit more. For the speed and treasure-hunting characters, this timer lasts 60 frames. For mechless Eggman, this timer is zero frames. Holding the jump button does absolutely nothing. I think he does actually have lower gravity, but the result is that he only jumps slightly higher than normal.

I think Eggman was upside down on the Final Chase opening because the game launches the character by a spring to the rail to start the level, seeing as he doesn't hit the rail he continues in his launched state.

I remember when I first tried out the expanded character select mod, one of my first things I wanted to try was seeing what stages you could beat as Mechless Eggman, if any. (separating this so I don't spoil anything in the video) I didn't get much, but I'm glad that you were able to find the majesty of beating Green Hill with him, and it was awesome to see that someone else had the same morbid curiosity I did, and was more patient to see it out. Could have been maybe planned for him to be playable outside the garden or something. Or maybe they just did it for fun. Back then devs put more time into actual gameplay stuff. Wouldnt be surprised if they gave him an animation just in case they wanted to make him playable outside of the garden. They also made it so Metal Sonic and Chaos 0 cant drown, even though you'd never see it in normal gameplay.

I would give the link I have saved, but KZbin deletes comments with links sadly. It's a mod on Gamebanana, the physics swap mod is what it's called. There's one for SA2 that'll let you change the physics to either SA1 or Heroes. I recommend trying it out.
