The Break Par Series is back and this week we are at St Enodoc Golf Club trying to shoot an under par score, with new channel guest, Joe Cruse. Due to poor weather, we only managed to get 12 holes in: 1-9 & 16,17,18. St Enodoc boasts stunning views, and a superior links feel, making it arguably the best (and hardest) Links Golf Course in the South West of England.

I remember playing St Enodoc with my dad when i was probably about 12ish. My lasting memory was my mum walking back to the clubhouse straight down the driving range. My mum and dad bought a lovely painting showing the famous church and some of the golf course. John Betjeman poet laureate is berried there i believe. I still have that painting. lovely area and great course. would love to play it one day.

Sorry guys. I overlooked commenting on this. Another bleak day on the links but I enjoyed Joe's appearance on the channel. Very pleasant unassuming guy and agreeable good humoured host. Hope we see more of him. Pity you couldn't fit in all 18 holes though but I do recall your previous visit there - under similar conditions!!. Interesting view of Padstow too.
