Buying a Zaku I and turning it into a Zaku II with a scratch-built bazooka is certainly an interesting choice instead of buying the Origin Zaku II that comes with a bazooka.

I am actually curious, I would love to see Murray do a "exploded" master grade, where all the armor pieces have been "blown" off the main frame and hover around it. Like a blueprint image but with the main armor off. There's a couple people who have done this with the Master Grade Gundam Virtue from MSG:00. Also, for my favorite gunpla, I'd have to go with either the MG Ver.ka Psycho Zaku or the HG Hygogg (this one is more funny than anything else)

Also, a video showing just how different the techniques and terminology between Gunpla and Mini building is! For example, in gunpla you cut the piece from the Runner, far away from the piece to not disturb the color of or warp the plastic. Oh, a d my favorite Gundam series is Turn A Gundam. With mecha design by Syd Mead and imo Tomino's magnum opus, its not only my favorite Gundam series but my favorite anime period.

the smoke ploom looks cool and all, but what if he had inverted the shading? If the light is coming from within the ploom, then the lightest parts would be in the pits and recessions of the cloud bulges, while the darkest parts would be on the raised areas. This is because the raised areas are thicker, and further from the lightscource, and therefore darker. If you look at pictures of clouds with lighting internally illuminating them, thats what it looks like. I think if he had tried an alternative shading technique, the already cool looking purple mass would look even more awesome!!!

Something to note the Zaku to the Zaku II did NOT add a machine gun, the machine gun was standard issue for BOTH of them it was dropped with the Zaku IIIs in Zeta. The Bazooka was optional for a Zaku and the Zaku II has a Bazooka variant. While the original did come out in 79 it also doesn't use an 80s aesthetic at all it's still very 70s as far as anime style goes Origin for sure cleans it up but it's a 70s look not an 80s one it was touching up.
