Katie, since you like climbing you should try going up Latigo Canyon road in Malibu to Pedalers Fork restaurant in Calabasas. It's a famous 10+ miles climb among riders here with great views. The restaurant is a bike shop restaurant. You will enjoy it. Ride round trip its about 40+ miles.

Hooray for Hollywood😁How ironic you got rained on in LA and I managed a 54 mile ride with 3500ft of climbing in the dry in Scotland, 35mph winds though but no problem for the e bike😉

House of Pies is great. Haven't been there in ages. If you'd continued up the mountain behind the observatory, it's a lot less touristy. I highly recommend it. After you crest it, there's a fun, twisty decent to the north side of the park.
