Can we coax a mini dachshund out from under his blanket?

In this video, we tried to coax Mac the mini dachshund out from under his blanket. This was after Mac had been out for a long walk, so he was content with taking a nap. He can never resist his kong frisbee though. (:

Mac's nails are so neatly trimmed! How do you get him to allow that? We've tried everything, but our adopted doxie absolutely will not let us trim his. Even the vet refuses to do it. It's taken me a year of patient coaxing with treats to get him to the point where I can touch and handle his feet and nails...sometimes he even lets me touch a nail or two with the tip of the trimmer tool. But that's as far as it goes, sigh. Anyone have any suggestions?
