Can we Fix this Skoda Favorit Forum!? Unexpected Surprises (Ep 1)

In this video we explore a longer style "fix it" video, apologies you see much of my arm at the end, we are experimenting with angles being able to see closer but also you not having to see only me blocking your view! The Favorit needs a head gasket so we begin by removing certain items that are going to be in our way but we find that a rivnut and some mayo substance gives us unexpected surprises...

It's oddly relaxing to watch someone else work ! At least the Favorit has reasonable access to the engine, not like modern cars. Looking forward to the next episode of Sunshine and Rainbows !

I think the same! I commonly find myself watching Vice Grip Garage videos and then thinking I should probably be working on cars myself... absolutely, nice and easy to access most bits! Thank you, plenty more on this Favorit soon!

@owenaquilina5001 0 seconds ago Is the skoda forman head gasket the same as the favorit head gasket? Is the skoda engine block made out of aluminium or aluminum alloys Is their engine of a concern?

The Forman is just a Favorit Estate equivalent from the UK right? In which case yes, it's been the same between our models at least! The head gaskets seem to be weak point but otherwise we've had no real issues with this engine! Keep an eye on the core plugs under the rocker - when they pop it lets the oil and coolant mix as well!
