The only thing I did differently was find a Progressive "prep works' cherry pitter on Amazon that does 6 at a time. I was careful to count pits as I worked. I hate to bite into a pit while enjoying a piece of pie. Love your videos.

Frozen cherries can be used like ice cubes to cool a summer drink without watering it down eg cool a glass of wine with a couple of frozen cherries.

Your ice cream ideas sound wonderful I just need to find a different base other than bananas...I just don't like them though I use them...I am always searching for something else. My favorite ice cream years ago was cherry vanilla and then I got more sophisticated and moved to Cherry Garcia. I want to find a vegan replacement...I've never done very well with eating cow's milk. Ms Berta, ooh Cherry Garcia is good. Think every flav should hv nuts. Love coffee & peanut butter. IMHO more creameries should inc nuts in their coffee flavs (BR's Jamoca Almond Fudge has the trifecta). Not a vegan but would be interested in your twist on a vegan ice cream recipe (hint, hint, not the only 1, surely). Thanx from new subbie.

Okay, we do live in a parallel world! You grew up on a farm, hoping I remembered right, we own a farm😂 my husband grew up there! 4 room house on a cotton farm that he worked as a child, still has his cotton bag from his childhood! But, now the serious dinner discussion, what do I plant in my tiny 10x5 garden? I want collards, lettuce, onions, garlic, sweet potatoes.......he wants tomatoes, do you see the problem? I want it all😂😂😂😂

You guys own a farm?! That is amazing! I love your husband...he's so definite about what he wants; kinda like my husband. I've been researching how to grow sweet potatoes and potatoes in a small space because I want to grow them, too (wouldn't you know it?). Did you know you could grow them in a barrel or trash can? I am going to try it. Let him grow his tomatoes (btw, I love tomatoes and tomato sandwiches; I've eaten them all my life--just a side note) and you can put your sweet potatoes in a barrel and grow a little bit of the other things, too. Just a thought. I want to send you message so we can talk privately. My son has to show me. You wanna? Anyway, thanks for your comment. My daughter really is 33yo; I was 1 year off🙄...I did the math quickly after I sent you the reply.

Hi Berta I never knew they made a cherry pitter. What do you use your cherries for? I tis 97 degrees here this afternoon on thi s sweltering Tuesday & would you believe Betra I have the oven on for a roast beef dinner. I will have a batch of sweet corn ,fresh sliced tomatoes ,mashed potatoes, gravy & Mom made homemade pickled cabbage she makes the best. You can, Gloria. But, if you want them to freeze separately so you can use 3 or 5 or 10 cherries that you don't have to pry apart, place them carefully in the bag and lay the bag FLAT until the cherries freeze. I think that will work for you. You do understand that the cherries do NOT STAY on the baking sheet? You just use it to freeze and then transfer them into a bag to use later. Let me know if I have made that clear for you...okay? 🤔🍒
