I think you're soooo right about how he would just sacrifice himself before letting her die. But hear me out... I THINK THAT MIGHT WORK?!?!? I think the whole reason the tattoo transferred in the first place is because she was willing to die for him in the water at the beginning. (If I remember right, she even had a thought about how she would die if she didn't let go, but she still tried to save him.) SOOO my theory is that if he does the same for her, wouldn't it just go back???? I'm gonna binge the rest of the show right now, now that I finally have time, but thought I'd just throw my theory out there in case anyone had the same thought 😊😊
