I think that’s part of what a movie is, situations and a story that isn’t made for our reality. It’s called fiction for a reason. I can determine when a movie is bad, but that’s on my interpretation and my own opinion if I like it or not. But when these guys call every single movie a “bad movie”. Millie devours, she's just so phenomenal. Plus ow they made the dragon looks so dang real, the voice of the dragon is born chilling. Plus the fact that she survived until the end, by herself when the dragon chasing her. She's smart and resourceful. She's a fighter, a survivor, she's no damsel in distress. No one could survive that fall if there's no branches. If she fall straight, she might die. And it's crazy how it's always humans who do sh*ts. Humans just never learns, humans can't mind their own businesses.

@@ncttotheworld127 The dragon may have been tricked by the royal family but she has also been killing innocent daughters for centuries. Though she was doing it because she thought the girls were the daughters of the royal family, it still doesn't diminish the fact that she cut the lives of those poor girls short. That was why the ending surprised me, proper vengeance for the girls who lost their lives would be the death of the royal family AND the dragon.

@@ncttotheworld127 The dragon is an idiot, and a bloodthirsty killer. She should have just killed the king and move on with her life. So many questions are provided and we no answers to any of them. They designed the dragons movement after a cat which is meant to reflect it's playful hunting technique. The hunt is fun. Also this girl hasn't had food or more than a few drops of water in like 3 days…. Also the over all tone reminds me of the stages of grief. Denial- begging for help Anger- screaming Depression- being in the cave surrounded by ghosts and realizing Victoria died to.. The hope was just a sheer drop Bargaining- she tried reasoning with the dragon. The prince tried reasoning with his mother. Acceptance- the dragon accepted her fate, the prince accepted his, Elodie accepted the dragon.. Than the moving forward.

It's an idiotic movie that makes no sense. It's like an AI wrote it. So many interesting questions about what the worldbuilding is and why things are the way they are, but they're too busy "subverting" expectations to answer any of them. You still need to fucking tell a good story, and present lessons in the end, if you expect to be taken seriously for so called subverting expectations as those who don't do that. This movie had so much potential, but it squandered it. The main character even stops being a damsel 15 minutes into the movie, so the title matches the movie, it's stupid and nonsensical.
