Can we get even faster blasting speeds again with the used Harbor Freight Sandblaster? Yes, we can! We got a new blasting gun to unbox, install & test. Hopefully it gives up better media flow. We also have new lights that are magnetic so we can move them around inside the blast cabinet & get the light where we need it to help us get our sandblasting jobs done faster. The trick is to put the flashlight in a zip lock bag. It will protect your flashlight and cheap to replace the bag.

What cfm is your compressor that you are using? I’m wanting to get a blasting cabinet but don’t know what compressor to get.

I cant find the cfm but the SCFM is 5.2 @ 40 PSI, 4.0 SCFM @ 90 PSI, a max PSI of 200. That’s what the tag on my compressor says. It’s impossible for me to help anymore than that because I don’t know what you’re doing. All I can tell you is that my compressor is capable of doing the blasting you see me do on Freeman’s Garage Extra & Freeman’s Garage. But I wish it was bigger because I’ll start out with a full tank blasting at 125psi & in just a few minutes the tank will be down to 50psi. I can keep blasting at 50psi but it’s less powerful or I can stop & wait for the tank to fill up again so that I’ll be blasting at 125psi again. Hope that helps. Have fun blasting.
