Bro in SAP there are different tools and each tool has different modules. ex: SAP ERP is a tool and in this tool there are different modules like finance, sales and distribution, etc. and turst me these are not so high paying jobs. after 10-15 years no growth in the salary. and you cant change domain they are not like java or c++. so please aware guys who dont have any job and has an attitude like i just need job, job security and no aspiration for high ctc. then you can survive in this SAP ERP also dont join any module few moudles have no demand. join either sales and distribution or finance moduels.. also just for demo..release u resume say u have 12 years of exp and u r current ctc is 40LPA. And see how many companies will come fwd to hire u with even minimal 30% hike. 🙂.

General thumb rule ifnyou want to survive long run always stick to the coding domain ( innovative work, challenging) if you want to survive and later want to bec9me a manager like that then learn any tool ( be it Sap, oracle etc) do that for 10 to 15 years and move to management ( Infact u dont have a choice other than to move in to managerial role)

You can. You should follow some strategies. Learn advanced things in fico like s4 modules. Learn some reporting skills too . Try to get some knowledge on sd and mm. It will be added advantage.
