Since I live in the desert we are always carrying water with us everywhere but unfortunately when it’s 115 F out not much will keep your drink cold except for a brand of drink ware we found called Yeti. I fish the weir at roxton quite often. Your lucky you didn’t get proper stuck the left hand side when heading to the lock before the temp morning. Is only a few inches deep. It’s a really slow drop off and shingle. Most boats stick to the right hand side going against the flow of the weir and turn last minute to get to the mooring. The weir at Eaton socom looks amazing do you see anyone fish it? If so can you do me a favour and ask if it’s on a day ticket lol
