Hey guys, Just wondering if you’ve given up? Haven’t seen any video’s in a month, but was mostly worried if you and Bex’s are ok. You’re my two favourite adventurers, lol, except with closures, breaches, iced over canals and all that goes with being a Nomadic Crobot I was worried for you. Please let me (us) know you’ll be coming back. Love you and miss you. Hey!! Maybe a quick music video! Love your singing and playing.

This is my introduction to your channel, and getting stuck up against the bank and then realising you can't go anywhere because of snake signs had me become a subscriber instantly as I'd not laughed so hard in a while! I'm assuming on and upwards, just cosmetics your health's intact 😉

Even the second attempt you were steering into the wall, think about you pivot points considering thrust direction and that sorta thing will become easier

Wow, I'm.shocked at that negligence 😮😢 I was brought up on narrowboats from 9yrs old and it's basic physics regarding the angles etc for turning and bridges, sorry if sound harsh but that crash i have zero sympathy as much as it hurts to see it

What a pair of idiots 😂😂 I've been a boater for 40 years and a boat yard owner for 25 never have I seen such incompetence... you are a danger to others aswell as yourself, to think you thought you could quit you're jobs and just boat about 😂😂 pure ignorance

HI.. AND HEADS UP... DONT DRIVE UP THE MIDDLE OF FAST MOVING WATER.. STAY AS CLOSE TO THE SIDE AS IS SAFE.. THE YOU WILL FIND IT IS FASTER AND EASIER TO DO SO... ALL THE BEST FOR 2025... TONE U.K.

You have to time your passage through the bridge to 'slack water low' The tidal flow takes you with it and if you get stuck a rising tide will lift you off.

Glad you two & the boat survived! What a tumultuous first outing! The engine sounding like that may have to do with timing being off, or fuel/air mixture being too rich or lean. Diesel engines have a very high compression ratio, so they are a bit more noisy than petrol/gasoline engines. Compared to first set-out from marina, it is definitely MUCH louder. I would check all lines/hoses/filters for obstructions etc, and then check the timing, and then check to make sure the valve train is working properly, in time or not. Definitely needs a looking at, possibly by a diesel mechanic. Hope you get it sorted asap!
