Well atleast the celebrations Japanese set is cheaper 40-50 bux for the promo packs and 12.88 for the reg pack individually and the booster box is 189 and im getting one soon yes in 2023

That first pack Reshiram was the alternate holo version! But I like the Japanese logo better than the English pikachu logo.

I'm a huge fan of Japanese vintage cards, but for modern I surprisingly prefer the English language cards. Definitely prefer the 25th logo with the pikachu instead of just the number in a box. Awesome video!

To me, the Japanese art, borders, and quality control are always better. I definitely prefer the 25th logo for their set, but I like that in English packs you have a chance to get the retro reprint cards.

I think they’re both great for different reasons. Japanese sets always have higher quality cards. The silver border is better than the yellow for sure

I opened 1 Japanese box and got every card beside zacian and the v union cards, only gotta spend like 15 dollars and I can complete the set lol in Japanese on top of my English master collection with all the promos and classics

I would love to see a video on if the 25th Anniversary Promo Packs are searchable. I heard that there are 3 methods to search them. Flashlight, feel the "shape" through the package and by weight. The Japanese ones look way better to me. The Japanese Lugia is a bit darker, but also more saturated. I also don't really like the english stamp

I like the main celebrations cards in Japanese better, the silver border looks excellent. I do however overall prefer the english release with this set. The 25 pikachu logo is much better than the plain looking 25 on the Japanese cards. Also I prefer the english classic collection with the really nice texture. And last I love the classic cards are in regular packs rather than separate 1 card packs.

The Japanese insigna version looks better to me. More of a classic look, and the english one has a more childish design in my opinion, which is also great, just different P-s: I opened about 30 packs and still haven't got that Basic Pikachu

Hi Pat from Spain! Japanese cards are incredible! Here now people are collecting Happy Meal promos that just arrive two weeks ago. The printing quality is horrible, people doesn't want the spanish versión, want the English for this reason. The Spanish version seem fake cards the holo seems horrible. I get a Mudkip holo with the borders grey instead yellow and bad cut... After 3 Happy Meals I stop collecting... Good luck in your openings!

The only issue with the Japanese 25th anniversary set is how they chose to handle the classic set. The special set with 4 packs and 1 promo pack is a fine way to do it, but the loose promo packs and them being easily searchable is terrible.
