I have been following this vlog during pendemic time. Feel that no one can stop you from educating in such a way. We need to know that the majority of people outside do not have the opportunity to have farmland like this family. Therefore no one has the right to speak up to criticize you and teach you how to educate your own children. But there may be different ways and cultures to educate families. I'm a Grandma and have grandchildren that live on a farm. I love that they are living their best lives on beautiful land like you and your boys. Emerie, my youngest loves to show me around and tell me what's new on her family farm. She tells me the names of all their chickens, goats and pets (when the new ones arrive) and loves showing me her garden that we planted together. The progress, what is providing fruit and also what has died (strawberries didn't work out). Your channel is so fun to watch! The bio pool is such an exciting project, and the thing I really do love about your approach to any build is the long term view of it. Beautiful guys….gardener here….that edge looks great but when these plants will grow they won’t have enough space to fully grow and they’ll compete and die. Make sure when you plant something to look at the information sticker and follow the info in regards to planting and thinking ahead on how much space these plants will need to thrive. ❤ Could you please tell me which website you’ve used to find your property? Love seeing the boys getting dirty, playing in the mud etc. When thd bio pool is finished don't forget a ramp for fogs etc to get in and out. Also shallow area for wildlife and birds.

I agree with bare feet and playing in the dirt. I grew up that way with mud pies and I ate pine nuts out of pine cones I found I remember the spring pond we played in it had a Crab Apple tree that was near it. I am now 74 yrs young I still go bare foot.

That's a lot of hand poured concrete but it's going to be so good. I love how the boys are so involved and outside and with no shoes. Absolutely love it. They aren't scared of things. I don't know a single child Crusoe's age who is so good using tools and implements. Playing outside until dark is how I grew up and helping my parents on our acreage, I think as it should be. Nowadays it is not common and that's too bad. Kids are missing out on things that really matter. Kudos to you both for being mindful but not helicopter parents. You are doing such a service for your boys. So excited for whats to come.

I absolutely love watching the boys playing in the sand, dirt, mud, water etc. It reminds me of my own kids doing the same. And ditto what everyone else has said regarding immunity. Now for some (helpful I hope) suggestions. When the boys have finished playing in the mud, rinse them off with the hose WITH their clothes on, then with the clothes off. It’ll help keep your bath/room clean. The using the hose on full pelt, blast as much mud, dirt and grim off the clothes before putting them in the washing machine. My other suggestion is, put some bird baths around your garden; especially the one in front of the stone house you’re now living in. Imagine how lovely it would be to sit having your morning/afternoon coffee on the verandah watching the birds have a bath…heavenly. Love what you have done and are doing with the farm. Can’t wait to see/hear the big surprise. Lots of love and peace from Kyogle, Australia.
