To use Rythian's words: How long have they played GTA and not noticed that certain cars have different controls? I've never player the game, but if I remember properly from past videos (from these guys and the AH crew) it's like the buttons are "use tool 1", "use tool 2", etc. I think pressing right stick would be tool 1? And since the car has a jump, that's tool 1 and the rockets get delegated to tool 2. Normal cars only have the rockets, so the right stick shoots those.

To translate the planes to Starwars Rebel Fighters, the default jet Ben is in could be classed as an X-wing an all rounder, Duncan an A-wing fast but squishy , and Ravs and Rythian in a Y-Wing slow and as nimble as a Hutt.
