I really don't understand how people don't realize Ai in regular player lobbies completely ruins the game.

I'll tell you exactly what ruined gaming. Dumbed down games came to mobile and made a $$$ killing with in-game purchases. Then, console shops became a thing. Then, PC games got ported to console and cross play was invented to roll out the skins/shops. Now, devs/corps are better off working on halloween costumes and unicorn skins than making a good game with any depth - all that matters is the mouthbreather's weekly visa allowance. The good games today are older PC only - World of Warcraft, Starcraft 2, Diablo 2, Counter Strike, etc.
