honestly, im okay with confusing champs, but my main complaints with bel’veth is 100% the fact she doesnt feel at all like a queen of spawns, we got a lot of mostly melee champs recently, i really hoped she would be closer to azir or oriana. her commanding her void-ling is such a small part of her kit, it almost feels like an after thought. would love to see this kit on a different champ, because i really hoped that she would be a new commanding champ, instead of a master yi with a less controllable yoric vibe

I can see that, but at the same time I find so unique and refreshing when they don't go to the easy/uncreative route. Like, she is a Queen, then everyone expects her to automatically be a mage, or be out of combat, something majestic, commanding her servants, just like a queen. And then we got this monster, that don't use much magic or anything like that, It isen't majestic nor empowered, It's just a monster fighting with it's own body right on face the battlefield

I'm surprised you didn't metion how weird is her Ult when it comes to casting, because you will spend 1.5 seconds: Inmobile, Targetable and with no Dmg Reduction like her E with a Minimum 100 hp heal at Rank 1 that makes you wonder.. Why even cast it instantly and not just punch the enemy to death? Also you can get killed in that 1.5 even at full health sometimes. Nice Kayle Syndrome

I think the Devs at Riot abandoned their old "Insecty-monstery-alieny-kill-you" vibe and took heavy, *heavy* inspiration from Risk of Rain 2's canon, where the Void has this Deep Ocean theme going to it, that they immediately designed Bel'Veth around because that deep black-purple representation of nothing needed something additional, and the deep ocean is a great allegory for the unknown. She's a giant Stingray. And she summon's anglerfish. The theming is almost ripped one-for-one. Also, they gave her the waifu face so they could still sell skins. Say what you want, Rek'Sai isn't selling skins the same way Kai'Sa is.
