If you watch TV shows, especially American TV shows, the term "tall" is always used in reference to someone being black. Look out for it, there's loads of shows that do it. I feel its like a secret code workd for black. "Oh wow, he looks so.... tall". There's a friends episode where Rachel says it when Ross dates the black chick. Its mad!

😂😂 honestly I don’t know why people hate Poet so much. All the comments I’ve seen and I really came here expecting to not like him but honestly this episode specifically he spoke sense. People may not like his tone or his approach or even his opinion, but your personal preference doesn’t take away from whether or not what he’s saying actually practically makes sense. Which in my perspective, it does. On the race joke thing specifically in context to anybody with any sort of fame, tread lightly. We live in a world where we don’t have the luxury to hope that your joke lands in the laps of people who share the same sentiments. As a person with influence what you say can literally solidify a false/toxic preconceived notion that somebody else has, because they are a fan, and cause a ripple effect that affects actual people’s lives. I cannot say that being able to laugh is worth that sacrifice. If my humour can in any way lead to the detriment of another person’s life, it is not worth it. Getting people to laugh for 30 seconds is not worth the damage that certain jokes can cause. Period.

That Kurt Angle clip is a "promo" from 2005/2006. For non-wrestling fans, he's basically in character at this point so it would be like hating an actor because of a line he said in a film. Also the whole promo wasn't shown. Just that line. Context is needed here. Much worse statements have come out of the WWE. Kurt Angle doesn't need to be #cancelled here.

To answer your question. Yes they can and already do. When they do Blackface that is an example...our people may find it offensive or funny...the thing about humour is it's always personal. What you find funny someone else may find offensive or not funny at all or vice versa. And that is the reality of life.

The point isn’t whether you like what someone says or not, it’s that people have the right to say whatever they want (however outta pocket it is) and the consequences will come with it. However in these fucking times, ppl wanna silence/mute. It’s the fake outrage of being “holy” compared to others while simultaneously doing the same thing. And anyways wouldn’t you rather know the real person and deal with that than having ppl walk on eggshells? It just baffles me

Poet the DJ analogy doesn't work at all. Basically saying a DJ coming from out of London who is inspired by another DJ and probably loves the culture himself for him to immerse himself into that culture and is inspired to become a DJ by being around and purposely taking time to be within the culture is the same as someone telling a racist joke. So much backwards talk.
