Can WICKED Defy Gravity and WIN Best Picture?

This film will keep garnering massive awards acclaim and it's domination is only beginning. It's also 20 years in the making which will show its momentum increasing.

Just kinda feels like this years Barbie. The audience favourite that gets a handful of techs and craft nominations, two actor nominations, and no director nomination. Ultimately, wins less than what people are thinking it will.

I haven’t seen some of the bigger contenders, but Wicked is the best film I’ve seen so far. I’d be happy for it to win! Ariana and Cynthia surprised me - I didn’t expect to get emotional from the opening number.

i've watched Wicked 4x. i really like the movie, obviously. that said, it feels more like a blockbuster than an awards contender. i'm sure it will be nominated for at least 8 Oscars, especially because competition is kind of weak, but Wicked doesn't feel like a prestige movie musical that will ultimately defeat Anora.
