“Where is this dynamic born” is such a great question, it’s the deeply embedded and insidious patriarchy that teaches: men know what’s right and women do what they’re told, therefore appeasing the “male gaze” and creating situations where women doubt themselves and the validity of their experiences. It’ll keep happening as long as women keep invaliding themselves. It can get better when they (and other people who don’t identify as male) share their stories, and when men actually listen, like you guys are doing so wholesomely in this video :’) It requires open ears and open hearts, and an ego that doesn’t demand being at the forefront of the conversation. I really appreciate you guys are talking about some real topics, and asking important questions, as well as sharing your ideas and experiences too. The 10 of Swords can be a sign of old ways of thinking and being ending, and the beginning of a new cycle, just like some of the topics you’re interacting with in the podcast. How do we move towards a more compassionate, aware, and loving future? Thanks for creating and conversing and keep going :)

it's people like nico and derek that restores my faith in men. i'm so thankful to amy for being open and vulnerable enough to share her stories and for you guys to listen and offer support to her. this was a really refreshing episode and i genuinely appreciate how the conversation went beyond surface level and explored the underlying causes of these societal issues. love to see creators like y'all creating a space for real conversations. keep doing what you're doing!

Imagine having a crush on them and you don't even have to go "stalking" to get to know them, you just watch their videos and all they talk about is themselves or their life experiences which is funny and wholesome to watch. This is just the best! I love your interaction and conversation is so fun! ALSO y'all are so CUTE

I had a different interpretation of Nicos 10 of swords. You may never see this lol but still. I think it's about releasing yourself. Like instead of agonizing about if something was or was not good enough. You have the mind set of, it's over. I posted it. It's as good as I could make it. And finding ways to end the anxious train of thought by reminding yourself that there is only so much you can do. At a certain point you have to call it. And terrorizing ourselves rarely produces higher quality outcomes. So that mind set may answer the other question of how do I raise the quality. Best!

I love this episode so much, and I love your responses to her stories, but I just relate to the fact that she keeps feeling like she needs to explain why those experiences were traumatic, like it's constantly feeling like you're over-reacting because that's what society makes it feel like
@rae15499 ай бұрын
i found it really interesting how you guys were trying to dissect and theorize on social issues and i enjoyed the introspective approach you guys took … not so common nowadays:P
