It’s really funny, when I watch woohoojin I think to myself (wow his comms are so much better than mine) and when I watch this you point out so many valid errors in his communication style. I hope woohoojin finds this video and is able to improve on himself quicker, as it can be hard to find all these mistakes on your own, you always need someone to peer review your work! Thank you for providing a perspective most people will often overlook!

I really wonder if he could hit radiant. I don't doubt his understanding of the game (I'd rank it low-mid immortal lvl), but there's a huge difference in what you know and applying it to your game. And it's much easier to look at a game from a third perspective and teach it rather than playing at the same level. I've seen a few games from Woohoojin at different time periods and he seems like an ascendant-low immortal player right now. Although I will say, he puts a lot of time into this game as it is his job, so he should be able to hit radiant. I would personally like to watch him climb with a fresh account, which could be nice content but o well.
@anonymousbison54516 ай бұрын
Why with a fresh account? Do you think it would make it more entertaining?
@SerChiang6 ай бұрын
@@anonymousbison5451 yes, and I think it showcases his strength more, without his current hidden mmr. Continue to climb without the reliance of strong teammates but based off of his communication and individual skills. It's only been a day though so we'll probably see more games of him applying what he says as a coach. And I'm more interested in that because most people who can hit high immortal can hit radiant. They just need to keep playing.
@caminhaodelixo26 ай бұрын
I'm actually positive 50% of radiants are below his level of general game knowledge, but they're very much above him mechanically, on specific agent/micro knowledge and fast decision making
@SerChiang6 ай бұрын
@@caminhaodelixo2 Radiant players in general are better than him in all individual skill imo. Game knowledge, idk but he consumes Valorant content all the time so I guess so. But he's pretty average I'd say. Which is fine because he helps mostly diamonds and below. Keeping things simple is very important too because like Curry (consistent rank 1 val player), keeping things simple is the best in ranked. But I've never seen him really show off any plays or whatever that stands out. It's all just simple average gameplay. Woohoojin skill level can reach the bottom tier of radiants, so like 20% of radiants are below or at the same level of general game knowledge. This is all just my opinion tho. *I'm saying this all because he sells himoff as top tier IGL, one of the biggest brain in val. Makes sense cuz it's a job, but that always annoyed me cuz I never get that from him.

I watched him yesterday and I really feel like he needs to take some of his own advice sometimes. There were times I wanted to yell at him like on Ascent he got 2 outside of tree then tried to push when he had numbers and ended up getting swung and killed from tiles and ended up losing the round. Hopefully he reviews his VODs and see stuff like that since he's focusing on grinding now. Like this VOD. 5:20 he would have yelled at a student for doing the same thing. He could really maybe use someone outside looking at his VODs with just general rules. I know Dopai is gonna be looking at his VODs, but I think someone like You or his old coach Charla7on would be a good idea.

I was wondering whether my valorant routine was appropriate. I do aimlabs training first (the woohoojin aimlabs training practice which is 30mins long with breaks he mentioned), then I do deadzoning and movement practice in the practice mode (due to me getting very rusty when not playing for 3 months).
