I have cert 3 in individual support. And have 1yr & 7 months permanent part time experience in aged care as carer. Last feb, 2022. I found a employer willing to sponsor me as carer. But they told me i need to gain 2 years full time experienced working with them, after that 2 years working full time with them, they will lodge my 482 visa. Is it fair enough? They dis-regard my working experience for 1yr & 7 months because they told me its just part time. Please i need your advice. Thanks

Almost every carer in my relatives nursing home is from Indonesia. So I guess they must be coming for these reasons. I wonder if Opal are actually sourcing them and arranging their flights into Australia.

Hi Karl, I have done my MBIS in SA and thinking about starting my Professional year. However, I am not confident in finding a job in IT. I have just started working full time as a Customer Service Assistant manager in a supermarket which is in SA Skilled Occupation list. From my research I have to do atleast a diploma because this Occupation is under skill level 2. But, I am worried about if its going to be a good path if i study diploma of leadership and management or diploma of retail management along with my PY. It will be really greatful if you can show me a path because I dont want to make mistakes and choose wrong path.
