This has been such a great series! I love how much you're using and talking about real city planning techniques and terminology. The curved roads constraint, just like all constraints, has definitely led to some creative designs and solutions. @@T4rgetGaming I think it depends on the focus. If you focus on designing and laying the infrastructure, the current format is perfect. Live gameplay shifts the focus a bit to actually running the city. I would prefer you keep it like this until running the city becomes an actual challenge due to traffic and stuff.

You have inspired me to build different. Something I've struggled with for a couple of years. I'm a Windows 10 edition player, so getting it perfect without mods are a must. But I believe it makes you a better player.

→ I think the Network Multi Tool would give a lot more value here compared to Move It! (if you think of adding a single mod). → You might want a few more roads (arterials/collectors) which just cross the highway to connect the districts, without an interchange. Otherwise all traffic from one side of the highway to the other will need to go on the highway, which will make it a bottle neck.

Could you try out a grid-like area but intead of straight lines you would use ofcoures snakelike "lines". I dont know if id would look good or even work but it might be a change in contrast to the circle districts. Love to see how the city will develop. Keep up the great work!

I did an entire 3rd world holiday city build predominately with free-form, and it turned out much more realistic then a grid, or any pattern really You should try it

@@Sheboobellach no. I'm by no means advanced at Cities. But it's a fast way of just getting a city going without having to worry about building symmetrically. Building a "3rd world" also meant I didn't have to take proper care of low income communities, which again is time saving, and realistic. In the tourist downtown area I did use straight roads for the larger buildings, but more of an Asian grid then Americana
