I’m loving this, and wanting to do the same to my 2011 Sportwagen, Greta. Would you happen to have a parts list that you used? That would be helpful for other diy’ers like myself. 👍👍

Thanks for watching. Here is the list of major items that are required, not including wiring. - fuel tank (with both pumps) and tank straps, associated heat shields, etc -exhaust (routing is different to account for the prop shaft sharing the gear tunnel with the exhaust) -brake lines (they are different in the back) -rear subframe with axles, diff, etc -AWD DSG or manual trans, with the angle drive/transfer case -Make sure to grab the mount that secures the angle drive to the engine block -passenger front AWD axle (shorter because of the angle drive) -prop shaft I will pin this comment to the top so others can see. Happy new year!

Dude, this is my dream! I’ve had this car for 5 years now, first car, and I want to own it for many more years. 4motion conversion is the long term goal. I have a 6MT tho, and I haven’t seen any videos in my research of how to do it 😢

Think mk6 golf r for parts, I haven’t checked but I believe the wheel base is the same. Everything else is basically drop in

I’m glad I came across this! I have a ‘14 sportwagen and I was thinking of doing the same thing down the road. The only difference is id like to do a hybrid version. Lots of money and time but it’d be cool!
@eurospekgarage18332 жыл бұрын
That would definitely be unique. I'd be curious if there is even enough space behind the hybrid block to mount the angle drive. But I would love to see it done!

Would really like a parts list since you only hinted at what you used, would love to hear compatible rotors and brakes and axles and so on.

hi, congratulations it's an awesome project. do you know if it's possible to adapt tiguan fuel tank? in my country I only can buy Tiguan or Passat as awd gas tank model, and those are the same gas tank
@eurospekgarage183311 ай бұрын
No unfortunately it’s not possible, I tried the same thing. The rear seat floor designs are different. You’ll have to source an awd fuel tank from a 8p Audi A3 Quattro or a mk5/mk6 AWD golf/ R /R32

@TenesseeTDI2 жыл бұрын
Out of curiosity did you have any issues with the fuel level reading accurately still? Also did you swap the main pump in the Audi tank for the original diesel lift pump? And lastly did you have to do anything special to run the secondary pump on the drivers side or does it just run all the time the ignition is on.

Do you think this might work with a manual Mk6 Sportwagon TDI? Very Interested in more of the specific parts. Ok noticed you said you found parts write ups for the manual conversion. I haven't been able to find one. Could you share the link?
