wait, isn't FLY an HM, and quite unnecessary for completing the game, so you used an item? I'm currently on yellow so it's an hm for me, I don't know if maybe it's a move naturally learned in later games?

It’s a nuzelocke with the added rule that I can’t use any items excluding HMs! I didn’t want to confuse anybody so I kept nuzelocke out of it because the lack of pokeballs makes half the nuzelocke rules irrelevant.
