If only one companion or just yourself level up, you can dismiss the other companions and re-invite them to have them get ‘catchup EXP’ which’ll let them level up. It’s a little cheesy but it works and is often helpful.

Great video man, though I do have a small gripe. Maybe you could’ve balanced the brightness a bit more in an editing software or by turning the brightness up a bit in game. I got my brightness maxed on my phone and I’m still having trouble seeing some parts of the video.

I would like to make a suggestion. Idk how far you might be into act 2 by now but there is a way to enhance this challenge further. There is a Maul in act 1 in the burning in, in the burning rooms near the man you rescue called Hammerhaft. It has the magic effect to cause a burst of thunder damage whenever you land from a jump. With it you can dash and use all your movement on jumps to do pretty decent aoe damage. Mobile feat recommended to avoid opportunity attacks, possibly also 2 levels of monk for Step of Wind: Dash which does the same thing as your gloves but on a bonus action. If you are going to beat the game by only jumping, doing all of your damage by only jumping sounds like a further enhancement. Of course switching to this might de-rail your existing plans so I can understand you not wanting to, I just wanted to make sure you knew this was an option.

Thanks for the idea! I knew about that hammer, but since it doesn't increase my jump distance I had to let it go (since the glaive and another weapon later do). Would be cool but I went in a different direction with the max jump distance :)

@@shoe_ssbm Fair enough. Although it is now occurring to me it might be possible to make the entire party jump themed. You have your main character invested in long jumping, someone using the hammer to jump damage, a druid in owlbear form has offensive jumps. Possibly eagle barbarian for diving strike? idk. food for thought. Either way I look forward to seeing where you take this

This video is fantastic! One small thing for me is i think your brightness or shaders make the game really dark! It was pretty hard to see on mobile. Besides that i loved it and great work

I enjoyed skipping through, but based on the title I was expecting something more strict, like no walking even outside of combat. A title like Maximizing Jump Distance would have felt more accurate and made me more invested throughout

There was a hammer near Grym, that deals thunder dmg to all enemies whenever you land after jumping, if possible you should try getting that.

Any chance of respec-ing to druid and doing mega owl bear jumps that also do damage? Only problem is... I don't know if that's a "jump" in the game's eyes or not. I also don't know if all the jump buffs apply when you're in morph form. It would be fun if it did though.
