I'm not sure I really got what the bloodborne-wiki site says but apparently if you stay at a very close distance, he won't be immune to parrying...? There was also something about breaking his super armor dispelling his buff but I couldn't tell if it meant in the transition to phase 2 where one would usually backstab him, or if it's possible to break him out of his aura after that. Hmm, the attack description says it cannot be interrupted so I guess it must be _during_ phase 2? Which is useless considering he'd be immune to something like cannon bullets anyway. So yeah, uh, trying parrying at point blank range and see if it works I guess. Wait wait wait wait, I just read fextralife, and... is the way to prevent him from buffing by parrying the buff attack itself??? I didn't even know he could do it multiple times until right now. Apparently you can parry him infinitely by staying close to him while out of a parry but it assumes visceral attacks. No help there I suppose.

To explain Mergo's wet nurse randomly taking extra damage, her "clone" shares the health bar, meaning if you hit both at once it shows both damage instances as one instead of two. there's a similar thing in dark souls 3 with Pontiff Sullivan and his copy both being damageable when the spawning animation begins, meaning if you do enough damage during the animation you can kill the copy before it finishes spawning. Will try to answer any questions in comments if there are any. -Orobos Edit: After a bit more research, I've discovered that Mergo also has a double phase bug, poison (both rapid and slow) will damage both phases at once, meaning rapid poison against her is a fairly good strategy for the fight, as you will deal twice the amount of damage with each proc of rapid.

I know combat creates stress and I couldn’t have done it so I’m not trying to correct you. Just trying to help! Who knows, maybe I’m wrong and he kicks them back at your face making Lemon flambé… idk. I just know that whenever I have a fast moving enemy that dodges my firebombs I aim for the feet! With the culmination of all the firebomb runs, he finally snaps into insanity on Gehrman. What a fitting game and boss to do so. Good luck in you Elden Ring one, if it's possible. (Don't think so.) Love your channel, a bit late, but well worth the binge watch.

This is genuinely amazing, let alone getting past Gassy Boi with the big brain music move or defeating Rom with nothing but Molotovs was even possible but actually getting all the way through and completing the run? I must admit I was a non believer, guess I better go and repent for my lack of faith. Bravo
