I find the speech during the chalice dungeons very befitting of this channels Bloodborne runs as a whole. Each time, the same. Each time, different. Each playthrough a new soul with ancient memories, played back on themselves. A new weapon, a new twist. And yet. The same madness pervading your mind. Each delve into the dark abyss of this game bringing out a new story, and the growing insanity-so crucial to the soul of a storyteller- drags itself a little further forward with each journey. Less of the game. Fewer stats. Fewer side notes on the mechanics. Some bosses a mere footnote, others entirely unmentioned. In their place, the heart of a story beats stronger. More breathtaking monologues. More mystery and missing footage, set aside for the sake of what must be done, what must be told, that you may rest. There is a storyteller in all of us, Lemon. And yours seems to be awakening. We'll be waiting for you, in the depths past your inner core, when the long dream is over. But dont worry, you wont be alone in the suffering your stories have caused you. After all... We're all mad here.

I came for this channel because it seemed like a good dark souls challenge runner, and now i am watching a man writing his journey through not a challenge, but a way to play the game, and display it by creating wonderful lore based on his playthrough, not only the dramatic parts, he included his struggles, his victories, his feelings, his jokes and most of all his passion for doing this. Lemon is an example of great content as he does things his own way, he's not afraid of cheating to do a challenge run, he makes these stories, he plays games that aren't very talked about, he references jokes made in previous videos and some of these jokes become lore. This channel is severely unknown, support The backlogs and help it grow bigger and better

@@alicepbg2042 the higher your Insight, the lower your Beasthood cap, and the effect is not small. You can see through the video that with 99 insight his Beasthood meter is less than half what it is in the early game, which also translates to significantly less damage dealt. I follow a number of challenge runners. None of them put in the effort that Lemon does. More than just doing a challenge run, he tells a story. And it makes what could be just another formulaic video into something truly engaging. Well done, Lemon, and keep up the good work.

Lemon I must say I've really enjoyed the newish style for your videos, how you narrate them like each being their own story so they feel like how they truly always should have been they were there in spirit before but now they're here in body and spirit almost like you've taken a page from vaati's book Also watching the challenge dungeon portion on the final video after seeing the stream made the video experience so much better

THAT ENDING WAS PHENOMENAL! You PERFECTLY nailed the eldritch descent into madness with the Labyrinth section! Your voice, the words, all of it insanely well-crafted! The script wouldn’t be too out of place in game even! Fantastic work good sir!

dude, you should be a writer, that last part made me put down the game i was playing. How you worded how the Labyrinth being a glimpse into the insanity of doing the same thing over and over again is a great way to interpret the idea behind the chalice dungeons within bloodbornes lore. Very cool stuff, hope to see more

Holy shit Lemon, this has to be one of your strongest narrative videos yet. The constant Yharnam jumpscares with the way you act in them is CRAZY. Absolutely wild to hear your normally pretty soothing, quiet voice screaming "WHAT DO YOU WANT" at Yharnam with the jump cuts and the distortion, your descent into madness in the chalice dungeon, the ending which, frankly, was chilling. God damn.

Going down the path of the Beast while keeping your feet upon the Hunter's Path while the Kin and Great Old Ones gnaw at the mind. Forgoing firearms or other assorted weapons, just the Beast Claw and the Beast Rune etched into you and the ultimate constant of the Hunter: Kill to survive the night while waiting for sunrise. The man and the beast rip and tear through their fellows and the Kin alike without mercy for they do not know mercy, so why should you? Keep in mind that Beast and Hunter are alike in that they must kill to survive, but for different reasons. Beasts kill to feed with any lesser beast or unfortunate soul, hunter or not, with the cobblestone as their dinner table. Hunters kill to cull them for it is merely their job over it being instinct, but should they be blooddrunk, they become lesser than Beasts. Beasts born of the Scourge kill to feed as animals do (provided the madness it inflicts doesn't get someone first) and Hunter kill for it is their duty. The blood-crazed Hunter kills either for sport or for absolutely no reason at all. When it comes to Hunters that killed their fellow hunters and men that full become beasts of the scourge, is there really any difference other than mindless slaughter on whoever they see or smell without a care in the world?

I've seen a lot of people commenting on Lemon's writing in this video, but I feel like I also need to point out and praise his voice acting. The sudden visceral outbursts of anger and frustration really hit, the emotion was palpable especially considering how calm and jovial his narration usually is, and he absolutely used that juxtaposition to great effect. Absolutely masterful

WOW, this one was good, Lemon! The edits are on point. That bit where you yelled at the Pthumerian queen was the absolute worst moment to take a drink. I'm lucky to be alive. Furthermore, I'll come clean on this... I never gave this weapon a chance on any of my Bloodborne playthroughs. This run singlehandedly changed my mind. Well done!

If I could get a Backlogs video to one-a-day, I would. Lemon has helped me have bad days turn out better, helped me fall asleep, kept me occupied when I would otherwise be anxious, and has just been downright entertaining and fun to watch, even on the bad days. Lemon, if you see this, every video means a lot to at least one person in the world. Thank you.

Awesome vid Lemon, makes me want to play BB again. I always wondered how to do a proper Beast build and now I know how. Btw the narration at the end is giving me chills and enraptures me, excellent writing done for this episode. PS after the vid: That has to be my favorite episode you've done with the story and presentation. To the more technical ends and speaking on what you're doing throughout, really liking this newer style of video with a little story. I now want a whole short novel of this character. You are a master either in the making or at work already, what is that truth cannot be comprehended yet but the indication is there. As a long time aspiring writer and gamer this got my cranial juices flowing and I want to wreck house on a game. Much love for what you do, keep up the good work!
