Can You Beat Borderlands 2 as Everyone at Once?

Taking on every vault hunter at the same time was... certainly a decision. A fun challenge in some ways, and an incredibly overwhelming one in others. It's one I'm glad I've done, but that always easier to say in retrospect. You could say we were running (Borderlands) two many. I hope you enjoy, and more importantly that you have a lovely day.
In reference to the obvious question regarding rule two, the answer is left. We went with the left one.
Rules:
1. All characters must be controlled using the same controller at all times, not on the main menu. The mouse was used to switch active files to begin playing.
2. All characters must use the same skill tree, at least trying to maintain the same point investments in terms of location on said tree. It felt more thematic, though this was really easy to avoid.
3. No unique gear could be used. Because I said so.
4. No BAR, because having it active creates an uneven playing field between runs and runners.

The sky was shot many times. The ground was shot many times. The air in between was shot many times. Guns clicked many times with no ammo. Amazingly sometimes the enemies were shot, sometimes even killed. And yet none of that prevented 6 characters crossing the finish line. Congrats Spuddy!

Great video man I can't say I've seen content on this game done like this before, but it was very different yet enjoyable and makes me wonder if this kind of format can be used on other games for example imagine playing a soul's game where you play as every class in the game warrior, cleric, knight you get my point right any way awesome video and you just gained a new subscriber.

I like to think that instead of six different timelines, this is all happening in one world, and Jack is just watching a schizophrenic monstrosity wander around Pandora, splitting into different violent spirits and occasionally hitting and shooting walls (or themselves,) wandering off cliffs, kind of like Nick Cage in that one future-seeing movie (Next, I think it was called) but without the plot armor. EDIT: Also, I'm going to speak out in defense of the Bunker, even though this disqualifies me from homiedom. I think the Bunker is the best fight in BL2 because for me it was the only fight in which the buildup to it got it's payoff. You have to go through not just one but TWO gauntlets, climbing up to a pretty scenic location, you wipe out the first part of the mission, and then the actual boss spawns in. Now, yes, you can just instakill it with multiple characters, yes it's not a complex fight, but if you're fighting the Bunker on or even slightly under level, and you don't have a build that specifically counters it or four Harolds of different levels crammed in your inventory (such as on a first playthrough, for instance) then the fight is delightfully chaotic. The floor is trying to kill you, you're getting assaulted by robots while the boss shows you the wonders of futuristic artillery barrages from a mile away, there's flying things exploding all over the place, all accompanied by the best boss soundtrack in the game. The Bunker fight is the only part of the game that still gives me that adrenaline rush 'wow' experience.

The idea of beating Borderlands with all 5 characters in Borderlands 2 at once is very interesting. Maya, Zer0, Sal, Axton, and Krieg all have very different play styles. Though for some reason there was a 6th window that contained this weird character named Gaige, I think there was a mistake. Ok coming back, poor Zer0, just always so out of place. As a Zer0 main I will keep him in my non believer prayers.

Anyone else think that, mods willing, would be interesting to see a "Can you beat Borderlands 2 as the Crimson Lance?" Always annoyed me how the Slabs have more of a presence in combat than the faction you work for for most of the game. Crimson Lance that became bandits are Bad-Marauders while the Crimson Raiders look like that armor is for show. Especially from the B1 Knoxx DLC, would be interesting to play as a fireteam of proper former CL and show em how it's done. Maybe even a full squad if NPCs could get involved.

I have a terrible idea for a next borderlands challenge, in case you feel like you didn't suffer enough. It's very simular to this one, but now there's only 5 screens and each play a different borderlands game. First screen plays bl1, second bl2, third tps, fourth bl3 and fifth screen plays first tales game, just for fun. So now you not only need to play 5 games at the same time, you need to play 5 different games with differences in mechanics. That'd be an ADHD hell. Good thing you're not insane enough to do that challenge.

Is funny, when i did know nothing about Borderlands, i had the impression that the other VH you did not choosed become npc companions you could switch to on the fly, arm and customize at my tastes. Sadly, that is only possible with online. But maybe somebody can make a mod for VH mods one day.

It's not quite the same, but Gibbed can be used to change class. It also requires a save quit, so the practical application is minimal, but it's nice for testing things sometimes.
