The date was March 15th, 2021, I just posted my first video on this channel titled Can You Beat Borderlands 2 with only the Bane. Fast forward 2 years to today, and the channel has grown way more than I could have guessed, so for this 50k special I've decided to make this challenge a throwback. Today we ask can you beat Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep, with only the bane. Im going to lay down the rules for you real quick, BANE ONLY, BANE ALWAYS, I can't equip guns that aren’t the bane, and I always have to have a bane equipped. NO BAR any nonunique shield is fair game and stock grenades are fair game, for the relic ill just throw this thing in there as a placeholder. I usually do my runs in UVHM OP10 but to make this run truly cursed ive made some decisions. First off We aren’t playing Borderlands 2 this time around, we're playing the stand-alone release of this DLC. This “game” only has a normal mode and TVHM so I will be trying to beat TVHM. This might sound easier than what I usually do but worry not, the bane can only legitimately be obtained at levels 7,8,9, and 25 so for the majority of this run we will be using severely underlined gear. We will start at level 17 matching the level on the first mission and our banes are already 7 levels under us to start. Cursed decision number 2 was picking Salvador this time around instead of Maya, that’s right, double the bane, double the pain. To make sure we can stay gunzerking more often and really minimize our speed. ill be using the legendary berserker for the cooldown rate. As for the skills ill go over them as we go, but incite and buss that can slow down are both banned for this run since they make me move faster and Im not trying to get any motion sickness. Now for the 3rd and final cursed decision, I'm going to play this whole run with all volume settings set to 0. Some of you guys might be thinking I'm just trying to dodge the annoying screaming that the bane makes but you would be wrong. Returning viewers know my video format, I put muted gameplay in the background while talking about challenges throughout the run and making jokes, kinda like I'm doing right now. But the only difference here is that this clip in the background isn’t muted at all, (he's right) this is just gameplay with all the Volume sliders set to zero, complete silence….(AHAHAHAH) The entirety of this challenge was an audible roller coaster going from pure silence to raw ear-shattering pain. Alright, enough intro let's hop into the run. We start our journey at the unassuming docs and honestly, the lack of audio felt pretty weird, I mean I Lilith was talking so I was kinda popping off that I couldn’t hear, but still. Anyway, if you want a reference for how slow we are going, the time it took me to get from hear to hear, was 3:30 minutes. I did the math and if my calculations are right, were moving at a solid speed of Turtle. With this speed it was super hard to dodge, the arrows from the skeletons ahead, on top of that the arrows they shoot slow you down even more, im pretty sure I'm the first person ever to get stunned and locked in a friggen borderlands game. Absolute crackshot idea I had for a challenge: "Can you beat The Pre Sequel as Isaac from The Binding of Isaac" It'd be a Claptrap playthrough using only the Cry Baby unique Scav rifle. (Depending on it's prefix/elemental/barrel it'll act radically different) It'd be UVHM Level 70, and you'd have to be speced into any skill that adds a new ability to Claptrap's action skill to mimic the gain of new abilities and items in that game. All the other gear is up to you. I've never played TBoI but I just thought it'd be a fun challenge idea

Should try and do a run with friends as a bee hive. One guy is the queen, and uses the hive, and the three others have hornets. Every body uses a Bee shield, basic slag grenade and corrosive damage relic, maybe have Maya as the queen and Zer0 as the bees. Interesting idea and I love seeing your vids man.

I thought of a fun "challenge" (i call it a challenge, but it's not really hard, more than it is downright fun): play the presequel as claptrap, and get every perk that increases fire rate and max it out with oz kits/class mods. I like to use a vladof strafing oz kit, or a tediore hyperventilator oz kit, the vladof for air-rich zones and the tediore for vacuums. don't wear a shield, as one of claptrap's skills makes him fire faster with no shields. you basically are playing a type of "glass cannon" build, except instead of being a "cannon", where you do insane damage per-shot, you're more like a "glass Metal Storm" (the Metal Storm is a gun made by an australian company of the same name, and is one of the fastest firing guns in the world currently, shooting at over 16000 rounds per SECOND.), doing small damage per shot but shooting so fast it more than makes up for it.

Can you beat borderlands 2 as a vampire? Rules, normal mode, can only damage enemies in a way that heals you (transfusion 'nades, second winds, skills) Any hunter allowed, fight for your life time increasing relics only, white rarity shield only if you can't handle it with no shield, action skills that heal the user allowed.

Can you beat BL2 as the Heavy and Medic combo? A friend gets to play Heavy (aka Salvador) and is only allowed to use Vladof guns While Gasmask uses Medic (aka Maya with a healing build) and you are not allowed to do damage, just heal and slag
