​@@DoomWolfOfficial bro music is my life and maybe that's why I just can't stand it when YTers just sort of shove in a bunch of (subjectively) shit music that's just way too much, even if appropriately mixed. I really enjoy your vids man and the chill vibe is a big part of it I think, your videos don't need to scream at you every single second you just take your time, allow some quiet and it's fantastic. That also applies to the editing (which I assume Dice is talking about), sure you could go super "detailed" and have a bunch of try hard custom art and animations blaring at you all the time, but again you just let everything speak for itself, including yourself, and it's super clean and refreshing.

Just did a dagger run of DS1 recently, and honestly found the best tactic is just to use the lack of a heavy weapon to wear some heavy ass armour so you can keep swinging, especially good for bosses that bleed. By the end I was sporting +5 black iron armour for everything but my head which had the mask of the child. Doing that you take so little damage from most attacks that it actually felt like cheating as I just ignored "learning their moves" and smashed face for a lot of the bosses.

haha yeah, poise is a strong stat in ds1, so if you get something that attacks fast + bleed + you not staggering, it's crazy effective!

I think my strat for this would be to meet the minimum requirments and then have 3 claws. Lightning, Divine and Chaos. Pump Vit, End and Faith and a little attunement for the regen miracles for the true Logan experience

So i watched a lot of your vids recently and they all seem like you put like- lots of time in them, how much time do you put in one vid aproximatly?

Each video takes about 2 weeks to make (or that's what I would like it to be haha). Normally it takes 2 or 3 days to record (I usually do this on the weekend when I stream the run), then 3 or so days of writing a script, a day to record all the lines, then 3 or 4 days to put it all together. So...around 9 or 10 days total. Sometimes it takes longer to record because the run is difficult (for example it took three weeks to beat Elden Ring Consumables only).

Yes that's one of the things that drew me in. I had never done a bleedbuild and this seemed a cool way to do it. But it was the moveset that didn't do it for me. As always, moveset is king and the one thing that just has to click. Very personal. Sometimes I forget this is the slowest game in the series, and when you have a wolverine playthrough on your mind this, well, this just didn't do that for me. The roly-poly on this thing is fun though 😊 can you imagine how fun (and unique) that would have been if it had some i-frames on it?

Back when I did a hands of god playthrough, which will be similar to this; no reach to speak of, low damage, but utterly amazing. It's the most fun build I ever had because of it's amazing moveset. Like all fistweapons it has a headbutt instead of a kick/push (style points) but inlike the other fistweapons that headbutt comes with a knockdown effect. It also has a heavy uppercut, which comes with a knockdown effect. Then you have your parries, backstabs and stunlocks and all that jazz, and while bosses are tough the levels themselves are so much fun to get through this way. I feel like this is one of those times where a game gives you the tools along with the underpowered weapon to make that baby shine anyway. Oh and if you have the remake, those backstabs with a fist are just about the most brutal, most satisfying thing in the game. I don't have the remake because a ps5 is rarer then pure bladestone, but I have played it at a friends and never got past the first level because I so much fun on the bridge right at the start.

@@DoomWolfOfficial It will stack because the ring gives you life after a kill and the server gives you life for each swing you land (the conversation around if they stack or not is only based on the death blow. When an enemy dies the ring of evil eyes gives you 30 hp but the 7 hp from landing the hit doesn't occure) I've done this run before in the past but never recorded it. I will allow miracles. It's been a minute but I don't think anyone else has mentioned that! The reason I didn't (and usually don't) is because I like showing the item I am using's strength by itself. So without any buffs. It's really easy to see in things like Elden Ring where there's 400 different buffs you can apply to make literally everything overpowered lol
