Run idea: Can you beat elden ring as a thief? You can only use items you pick up off of enemies. This includes weapons and armor so you have to start as a deprave with no weapon or armor. Might be easy by the end but the start would be a challenge. (Love the videos keep up the good work!)

Run idea - Can you beat Dark Souls using only shoryuken? The weapon Dragon bone fist has a special R2 attack where you uppercut an enemy into the air similarly to a shoryuken, though it is very slow. (And the weapon is made out of the soul of the iron giant)

I've thought about that run before, and I even thought about using the Dragon Bone Fist in this run, specifically for that attack (though, aside from falcon's up throw, he doesn't have an uppercut with a hitbox, so I decided against it haha)

The dragon bone fist has a strong attack that is like a falcon uppercut so that could have been used too

I did think about that! It's actually the reason I bought more than one Caestus, but there isn't really an uppercut in Falcon's kit. Falcon Dive would be the closest to the Dragon Bone Fist strong attack, but there isn't a hit box on it like Ganondorf's, it's just a command grab. Falcon's up-throw is kind of like an uppercut, but he doesn't leap into the air. either way I just decided to not do it haha

Fist weapons? In ds1? Dude you are insane, that range gives me nightmares. Jokes where pretty good though. I hope you have something less painfully slow planned next, the boss fights must have been a slog this time around. If you ever start running low on ideas you could always try that elden ring caveman build we talked about a while ago. That would probably be good for a more relaxed run.

The range was absolutely the biggest issue in this run, glad you liked the jokes :) The next recorded run was comparatively much easier haha, I seem to jump back and forth between excruciatingly difficult...and fun lol

The Caestus actually becomes really nasty as an Enchanted or Occult infused weapon. It gains A scaling in Intelligence or Faith, despite such a quick attack speed. Will admit, though... not many build their character that way in DS1.

I think a better set up would be to run double dark hands The shield option for it is the closest Dark Souls gets to a Smash Brother's shield And the fist option for it is the closest Dark Souls would get to any of Falcon's command grab Special attacks (the dark hand's humanity suck, I mean) For outfit I'd go for: -Soldier Helmet -Elite Knight torso or Black leather -Really any legs -Lautrec Boots

Soooo yeah... I had to start over... That day i learnt to never be honest with that lunatic of an unworthy pyromancer xD Edit: another funfact i have actually been havel in that run to xD i have been a literal rollin tank causing havoc but for melee i used smoughs hammer wich i renamed BONK

You must really hate yourself I remember considering a kicking build at one point before I realized that you can't beat asylum demon without cheating and of the three ways to increase kick damage (chard ring, Kirk leggings and parasite egg) one of them cancels out the other two, being the parasite egg

only every other week :P a true kick only build is...it's not a good idea lol. There isn't a way to make it even remotely viable. I noticed when I was doing the sorceries only run that I did more damage than normal, not sure if it was a combination of stats or gear, but it wasn't like...a worth while amount more lol
