Just watched another video of a Poop Digimon throwing Poop for 43 minutes! Worth it!

It consumed a lot of fucking time. If you play this game, the average life span of a digimon is a couple hours of real time. It would take longer if you got them to Ultimate, but doing generations over and over again of the second weakest digimon (sukamon is even weaker, albeit has a fast attack animation) in the game to a state where it could defeat a machinedramon would take weeks.

I played this game as a kid without internet access so I had no clue how digivolving worked with its obtuse requirements. I ended up with this green disappointment SO many times. I'd reset over and over trying to get something good. It's wild to see someone beat this game with a Digimon I thought was worthless. Great video, well played.

For me though getting Numemon early can be a blessing, because you can get Ultimate Digimon, that is Monzaemon, earlier than others with additional lifespan its evolution gives so it last longer than other Ultimate.

​@@alexcebolleroWell, this game is intended to be played casually and rewards its player by training your Digimon and embark on its adventure so yeah it was meant to have a lot of trials and error. Guide isnt really that necessary if you just want to beat the game. On the other hand though if you want to 100% the game you gotta look up guides for digivolve

Same. Although I trained my rookie Digimon, I almost always got Centarumon because their weight couldn't get high enough for Greymon with early-game food. On my first playthrough, I got Tyrannomon on the second try, and then somehow Numemon on the third. I still have no idea what went wrong there, but it turned out to be just what I needed to do the Toy Town quest.

I'm impressed you managed to cap out all of MCLEAN's stats and avoided getting the Etemon digivolution that would invalidate the generation. Anyway, I'm absolutely down for more DW1 challenge vids -- Numemon vs the Arena, a Bakemon run, I'm excited to see pretty much any and all of it that you're interested in trying.

That was one of the most glorious things I’ve ever seen! Numemon is one of my favorite digimon ever. As a kid I hated it, because I would make a lot of care mistakes and would end up getting it a lot. But then, one day I reached toy town, and when it climbed into the Monzaemon suit and became super strong I felt bad for misjudging it. And since that day it became what I consider to be my partner digimon. We didn’t choose each other, we were brought together by digi-destiny. I’m glad Numemon was able to be your partner in this poop-filled adventure :)

To be fair, I doubt a SG run would be that different from a normal run, as SG is a pretty decent ultimate digimon as far as I know. But for spooky season it could be great, indeed.

Ill never forget my first playthrough of this game. My first digimon was agumon, and he became meramon then andromon on my first digimon!!! Then i proceeded to get like 3 numemons then a sukamon lol. Also remember getting tyranomon and sadly being unable to feed him cause he was always hungry

The attacks aren't entirely random. "Your Call" is random. "Attack" uses your higher power move only. *Ultimate Poop Hell takes so long to actually hit it looks like it can easily stun lock opponents if it hits, as the attack cooldown seems to be ready as soon as it's launched.

New command at every 100 brains. After 500 brains, training the stat becomes useless unless you are tryna unlock techniques Your call: uses move randomly Attack: uses stronger attack Moderate: defend against attacks, sometimes moves and attacks Distance: digimon focuses on only moving away from opponent and never attacks Defense: replaces moderate. Digimon focuses on defending and has higher chance to block attacks Use Techniques (500 brains): replaces attack command and allows you to manually choose which move to use

@@aceclover758 Training after reaching 500 in Brains isn't completely useless outside learning techniques. You see, the game doesn't tell you this (classical Digimon World not explaining anything to the players), but you do gain a passive ability which lowers your MP consumption for all your Digimon techniques if you have a high Brains stat. The reductions go like this: 700 Brains: 5% Mp cost reduction 800: 10% 900: 15% 999: 20% If you do happen to reach the 700, 800, 900 or 999 mark through a battle, the game will show you a message saying: "Mp Consumption Bonus", which is known as a NTSC glitch that either softlocks your game or crashes it. So if you're playing the NTSC version, it's best to get past those milestones through training.

Good job, I was hoping you didn't need to max out the stats but here you are, it's possible but very long. Also Etemon is the only Ultimate Digimon with a Filth attack, and the only one he learns is Ultra Poop hell, he also got the first basic filth move by default, but he is not a main Filth type though, there are no such Ultimates. Hence why he is very good in the S-tier in the arena, as many Ultimates are machines. But MCLEAN would surely make it!

Halloween special could be: Only Spooky Halloween Costume type digimon! Rookie: Not allowed to fight, only evolve, or use Kunemon (a Centiped) Champion: Ogremon (an Ogre), Devimon (the Devil), Bakemon (a Ghost) or Garurumon (a Werewolf) Ultimate: SkullGreymon (a Skeleton), Giromon (Chainsaw Massacre), Andromon (a Zombie/Android), Vademon (an Alien) or Etemon (a literal grown up man dressed as a Monkey) Additionaly, you are only allowed to explore during night time! No other Digimon or evolution lines allowed!
