Can't believe I didnt reply to this, The Dot hack series is AMAZING!! It may be a little difficult to get into the first 4 games for the PS2 because of the graphics since you didnt originally play them; but it is insane with the level of story detail and characters you can have join your party. The first 4 games are superior in terms of difficulty that I hope to one day showcase challenge runs of. Just thinking about it makes me wonder if so many things are even possible considering how hard i remember that game to be.

technically no some late game normal enemies have the armor skill of take SP damage in place of HP so until their SP (MP stats) hit zero they will take 0 damage from EVERYTHING and not even those enemies/bosses can be poisoned to death. As for Haseo can't do any damage IMPOSSIBLE nearly all 3 GU games have least 1 SOLO area where Haseo is the ONLY playable party member with a boss fight at the end and are REQUIRED to beat the game.

Correct since even GU vol 1 has at least 1 Haseo only area and a ONLY party members damage run means that Haseo can't do ANYTHING but really use Healing Spells on the other party members and never "attack" but that's useless for Haseo only dungeons and all 3 GU games have at least 1 to 2 solo only area's where he's the only party member at the time.

Depends on the rules I have :) Relying on party members damage was fun and all but theres was just so many battles that were solo :(
