Can you beat Resident Evil 2 Remake with the gameplay of Resident Evil 4? That means: No moving while aiming, for every weapon, knife and granade. Sprint only on front line. If you want to move in another direction you have to rotate the character first. The chest can be use normal, imagine that is the merchant. Gunpowder not allow, only ammo you find on your own.

8:02 was even worse in Dead Island. One escort mission had a guy that ran headfirst into a horde of zombies. I had to restart at the last checkpoint whenever he died. Unfortunately all the weapon durability’s went down while ALL the enemies respawned. I didn’t even get consumables back. Each try was harder than the last and I couldn’t even go back because the whole mission was in a special area separate from the main map

BTW, even if the random pipe wasn't there, there's a way to bring all your weapons in to the fight. Basically, as you press the button to go through the door that starts the cutscene before Tahir, you also press the menu button and it keeps your inventory open through the cutscene and when you get to the part where you kill Jade, you drop all your weapons and you keep them through the inventory wipe. Also, you can make a special weapons with a pipe that significantly ups the damage. It might be DLC though, I don't really remember.

If only someone had taught him about the drop attack. It's an attack ability that uses the weapon and their ability but one shots the enemy, so it's technically still using the weapon to kill them even if it's a special ability. You unlock that ability and the vault ability and you vault over the enemy and drop attack them. I can't say 100% if the drop attack works on gunman because usually I use guns against them so I'm not really sure if that was an option.
