Whats the first weapon you get when you start fallout 4? no its not the 10mm or the pipe pistol its these weapons of mass destruction known as your fist and with a perk specifically designed to increase your unarmed damage, whats more perfect than this challenge theres not many rules for this challenge except only fists no brass knuckles, no boxing gloves, just these naturally gifted hands of steel. so lets see if we can beat fallout 4 with fists only.

Using Power Armor breaks your rule of only using fists. As you might have noticed, your Hands dont enter the Hands of the PA; they are not Gloves. They are more like a hunk of steel you're hitting your enemies with, clearly not your fists. Now, one might say its fine bc the Game treats them like fists. But there is an entire Category of Fist weapons; and if you're not using those, you also shouldn't use PA.

2:15 I've exploited this on my fist playthrough, but it only works with enough AP. Just stack VATS hits on the body (5+), by your 3rd or 4th hit the suicider will detonate, and as long as you're in VATS you'll survive the detonation (usually)

Yep. Always target the Suicider first with VATS. If you can time it just right, you can get more of them in the cluster when they detonate.

I think you should activate windows 😂 Also, taking day tripper while having 10 strength will let you increase the strength stat beyond 10 with the You're SPECIAL book. So you could have 12 permanent strength with that exploit and strength bobblehead.

Unarmed or fists only is always fun in fallout games. I remember my first time in fallout 3 i punched a ghoul so hard it gibbed and i was so hyped. Good LORD it was good. Was in the metro near arefu i think?

There is also a glitch with Unarmed in FO3 where you could use the Chinese Stealth Armor and the Hockey Mask to stack Unarmed damage to the 1000s and you can just go around as the Capital Wasteland One Punch Man.

The answer to this is Yes. Easily. With the right perks and legendary armor. * In the vault prologue, when doing a fists ONLY run; do NOT pick up the damned gun UNTIL you pick up the pipboy. Because you CANNOT unequip it until you do pick up the pipboy... >.< That's the second video at least where you've all said X challenge run is either melee or fist only, and you pick up the damned gun before you get the pipboy, KNOWING you can't unequip it! (You will either have made getting to the pipboy unnecessarily more difficult, or you've just broken your own damned rules) 1) Lone Wanderer maxed = 30% flat damage resistence 2) Attack Dog (with DLC's) Rank 4 gives 10% Damage Resistence. Req: Dogmeat (Lone Wanderer still viable) 3) Pack Alpha (Nuka World - side with Pack) gives 25% damage resistence = 65% flat damage resistence 4) Sentinels armor (1 Piece Purchaseable) gives 15% damage resistence while standing still (Rooted required) 5 Sentinel's armor (Farmed legendary ONE TIME) 30% Damage reistence = 95% damage resistence overall * While you are standing still you are ALMOST invulnerable (Do NOT want 100% as the enemies will just run away from you and you NEED to stand still to have Sentinel's Armor's effect apply) - Take 10 Strength/buy Daddy-O asap (or find if lucky) and THEN go to Sanctuary to get the SPECIAL book. - Drop Strength to 9, reload if you get addicted, pick Strength to get 11 base. Find bobblehead for a nat 12 - Grognak's costume gives 2 Strength (with space for pieces that will grant +1 Str/+1 End) for at least 15 Strength - Iron Fist maxed - Toughness (Up to you - not required/may help early game survivability) - Rooted rank 2 (More for the damage increase than the damage resistence, since it's not percentage based) * Might want to also take the perk that does the same as Rooted but for Sprinting (early to midgame survival) - Solar Powered maxed (Health regens overtime in daytime - you lose rads) - Adamantium Skeleton (Not really required, more to avoid crippled head) - Get the HP regen magazine from Mayor's Bunker (slightly faster HP regen stacks with Solar Powered) - Bloody Mess (if you like more damage and don't care about having to search for loot) - Ballistic Weave is optional (More for shits and giggles or mid game survivability while farming Sentinels) - Chem Resistant (I prefer never to be addicted, but it's up to you) - Action Boy + Grim Reaper's Sprint may also be helpful. [up to you about the luck perks Crit banker and 4 Leaf Clover... I hate unreliable damage, so I don't take them] * It WILL take forever and a day to kill anything with JUST your bare fists... but at least this would help make it so NOTHING can kill you. (Can also apply this to a Big Guns Build so you never actually blow yourself up)

And like you've shown I could have played it much better but I don't do research when doing these runs I like using my own knowledge as I play to make it more fun, but thank you for the build advice

@@BLARFYT No worries. Some people like to just have fun with it. I ended up figuring out the best way to avoid the most damage more because I like "immortal" builds; and I hate dying. In general but also to assholes who can just chuck molotovs all day from the third floor or shoot you from the same. And those dumb suiciders. There's not really a wrong way to play. Some people appreciate the challenge.

My only gripe with Unarmed in Fo4 is that you can't use any unarmed weapons in Power Armor. Sure, the frame alone gives you a massive damage buff, but nowhere near any dedicated Unarmed weapon like a Power Fist or Deathclaw Gauntlet. Also, there is no ability to hotkey your fists T^T

[Blitz] is the most absurdly powerful perk for Fists and Melee. Rank 2 gives unarmed/melee VATS a 20 yard teleport, the farther you are the more damage you do. VATS will teleport you onto catwalks, roofs and out of water. If there are 5 raiders spread around, you can teleport attack all of them in one round.
