I feel like fallout 3 might be the best one for Mitten Squad because of the eternal struggle with grandma sparkle! I also get the feeling a Nerbit inspired run would also have some nods to all his Abraham Lincoln runs and potentially all those “being chased by” runs he has.

Survival mode in FO4 can be fun, but needs to be tweaked with mods to make it not insufferable-save anywhere is *needed* for games like Fallout 4 and fast travel should be allowed because it still uses your stat bars like food and water. The thing with getting the debuffs like illnesses at random when sleeping is really annoying since even with the herbal remedy stuff you can do there's not much you can actually do to prevent it, and ammo weight is annoying, but manageable. Other tips for survival-build and play for defense, not offense. Having more defense and HP gives you a lot more room for error if you get hit by stray attacks, and playing defensively makes it more likely you can get more behind cover and heal before you'd be killed. Also make it a priority to get and make powerful healing items and foods, since those can be a lot more powerful than you'd expect. If you get the perks that increase endurance and defense it really helps you survive longer, and if you get the health regen perks like solar powered, higher tier life giver, and higher tier ghoulish you can even fully heal off most damage between fights without using supplies Also-ballistic fiber is phenomenal for increasing your survivability, I always make it a priority to get when doing a FO4 run
