Fun fact; cap and ball blackpowder revolvers did get their chambers greased. But not for lubrication and revolver ocelots pistol was not cap and ball so it did not need this. After loading the chambers with black powder and a lead round ball a small dab of grease was placed over the chamber to prevent any sparks from igniting that chamber prematurely and potentially blowing the gun up.

After America entered the war, Germany told America to stop using the M1897 trench shotgun because the pellets created wounds that were hard to patch up, along with it being hard to dig the pellets out. America countered these requests by basically saying "sure, we'll stop using shotguns...if you'll stop using gas, serrated blades, and triangular bayonets (the puncture wounds from these things were almost impossible to stich up)". Germany kept silent after that. Btw fun fact, the M1897 lacked a trigger disconnecter, which meant as long as you kept the trigger down, kept pumping the slide and there was still shells in the gun it would continue to fire!

@Logan Waltz Not necessarily true. The name of the cartridge or loading for a weapon doesn't actually apply to the nominal measurement of anything as often as it does. You can't say that something always is or never is directly applicable to a specific nominal measurement based on the type of firearm because that would be too damn logical lol. Also .44 Henry Rimfire was a middle of the road cartridge as far as black powder handguns go. As far as muzzle energy, the common loadings for .45 colt and .44 Henry Rimfire was pretty similar. And it was definitely competitive with cap and ball .44 and .36 apart from the loading for the Colt Walker.

The guy who built it, Andy Anderson, actually has a different gun he calls "Big Iron" (which is probably where Marty got the name from) which is a Colt S.A. .44 Special with a 7.5" barrel.

Dude the way to make them useless on even Very Hard is easy: Shotguns Shotgun spread destroys the wings, Shotgun Surgeon destroys their armor, ...AND STAY BACK! makes them go limp and the fact that it is a shotgun means you don't have to aim.
