Literally every character is cracked if you know how to play them in Remake/Rebirth. My favorite in Rebirth is Red XIII. Just fill his rage bar with a few wild charges then go to town.

The reason death sentence couldn't be applied again was due to the game's check priority order. The Odin death immunity trick prevents both death and doom (timed death), but equipment status effect application is checked before immunity when a battle starts. This means the curse ring bypasses the immunity check but you can't reapply any death related status onto that character beyond the initial curse ring doom as the immunity check will now prevent it.

Just a tip for learning Beta, equip two Enemy Skill materias on a single character and both will have the skill learned at the end of the battle.

Some random tips for potential future runs. Deathblow never misses a weapon has 255% Hit%. 255% Hit% Weapons are Tifa's God's Hand (drop from Carry Armor boss), Vincent's Sniper CR (Mt. Nibel chest) and Vincent's Long Barrel R (Costa Del Sol shop post North Crater). Yes, Death immunity also blocks Death Sentence. If you ever want to learn Enemy Skills for multiple materias, just equip all of them on the same character. Also, look up the Shiva and Ifrit materia duplication glitches too. Might be fun in a future run. There's also an "all materia that Yuffee steals" duplication glitch, but you have to wait till Midgar Raid for it, so it's a bit late and might not be helpful. Love your videos, keep up the good work!

Like, I dunno how to explain it, but I thought damage was raised or lowered based on what all 3 visible words on the reel were. Well definitely I believe so. Tifa is so cracked in the original for a speedrun and the stuff you can do with powersoul will carry you through the final boss for sure.
